The students are shortlisted based on merit. The average package offered by companies is 6 lakhs per annum, and the highest package was offered by John Deere, starting at 15 lakhs per annum.
Placements: Placements are really good here. If you have scored a good CGPA or even less, they will provide you placements if you don't want to continue your studies further. About 35 students get placed every year among 80 because others continue their studies in M.Tech.
Placements: Only 20% of the of the students placed in our batch had an average package of 3 lacs. The top recruiting companies include Bayer and Syngenta. But most of the students prefer Masters and government job preparation, as there are many jobs for agriculture graduates. Internships were available last year on campus as well as at companies like Crop Chemical.
Placements: You have to crack the entrance test for admissions in any of the courses here. Top ranks will be selected, around 40 seats for general and then reserved seats. This is a 4 year degree programme where you'll learn almost about every stream. Great scope in India as well as abroad. You are eligible for the ADO and HDO exams after this degree completion. You can also be a food inspector, soil inspection officer and many more. Also recruited by various food processing industries. Great opportunities ...
Placements: Almost 25% of students were placed, with an average package of 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Escort Tractor, Amul, etc. Most people prefer higher studies to light up their careers. You mainly study soil and water, irrigation system, food& processing engineering, and farm machinery and equipment.
Placements: Based on B.Tech biotechnology, the jobs are very few. From a batch, only 1 or 2 students are selected. We get internships on our own. The training is provided on-campus, but the students are willing for going abroad because the recommendation of PAU is best in this field.
Placements: Placements are very low in this college. Even if placed, the average salary package offered is 2 LPA. Maximum students either go for postgraduation or government jobs in their respective fields. But the quality and the level of study are real good. This university has made and kept a huge reputation in foreign as well.
Placements: On average only 30-40% of the placements are provided. Even students are not interested in placements rather they are interested in the PPSC exam. The average salary package offered was 2.5 LPA - 4 LPA. These placements are in agriculture industries. The internships rate is fine. Almost 60% of the students get internships.
Placements: On-campus placements as in the case of agriculture are not much as most of the students opt for their masters in PAU and abroad after certain competitive exams. Many students are offered certain internships by ICAR. They also go for government jobs as there are many opportunities in the government sector.
Placements: I am a student of 6th year in the agriculture department. I come to this university by passing in the entrance test after 10th, but students go direct in university after +2. Students who have 65% in matric class are allowed for the test. Everyone can do this degree.
Placements: The college does not provide placements. It is important to place the students who are in need of a job in their particular field. The major drawback of the course is placements. It is good to show a good platform to place students in their particular subjects. So placements should be provided by the institute.
Placements: About 80% students got placed. The highest package offered was 18.5 LPA and the lowest was 6 LPA package. Top recruiting companies are John Deere, Class, Mahindra, etc. There are also several other options after this courses like bank services, government services and also services in private sector.
Placements: 20-25% students have been placed from my college. The highest package was 6.5 LPA, average was 4.6 LPA and the lowest was 2.7 LPA. John Deere, Mahindra, Tafe, Case New Holland, etc. visited here. 3-month training was held for 2 students in John Deere and other students interned for 2 months in Tafe, Escorts, etc.
Placements: About 80% of students from our course are well placed. The highest salary offered varies from Rs. 45,000-50,000 per month. John Deere and New Holland are the top recruiting companies for our course. Roles offered in our course are engineers. The highest salary package offered in our course was 7.5 LPA to 8 LPA. Around 65% to 70% of the students got internships.
Placements: The college does not provide placements to the students in food technology. It is the costliest degree in this university, and they charge more than 1 lac per semester. Students have to struggle a lot to find a good job. Moreover, finding a job related to your study is a huge challenge nowadays. It seems like the university just wants money, and the future of students is ignored, and only money is important to them.
Placements: The college has a good placement history. Companies like Mahindra, John Deere, and Swaraj rely on our college for hiring new employees. Students who have great knowledge regarding agriculture and technology are valued. Placements in the college are good. High salary packages are offered to students. Some of the packages offered are great. Recently, a few students received a job offer from John Deere with a starting salary of Rs. 50,000 per month.
Placements: There are no on-campus placements in this University. As the name of the university is well recognised, you can get a job only after good efforts are made. Companies visit only for the students in agriculture department as that degree is under ICAR, but from past 2years, Nutrition and Dietetics have also been registered under ICAR and scope of placements is very high in future.
Placements: The placements are in a moderate numbers but whoever got placements received a handsome anount of annual package that could be upto 9-10 Lacs. Companies like John Deere, Mahindra Tractors, New Holland, Class etc. Visited during the placements. Roles of Tactician, Engineer in development sector and other related roles were offered to the students. The internship criteria for students within the last six months of the course (degree).
