BTech in Food technology at Punjab agricultural University Ludhiana.

Placements: Most of the students from our college get placements in their final year or even after that. The average package offered is about 3 to 4 lakhs per annum. Major companies like Nestle, Verka, and Amul recruit students from PAU for internship opportunities as well as job offers. The workplace quality of the internship and job is very good and promises a good salary as well.

One of the best agriculture engineering colleges in India with really good placements.

Placements: 20–25 students out of 70 were placed and the rest of them wanted to go for further studies at IIT Kharagpur, a few wanted to do an MBA; and some of the students in our batch wanted to go to America on scholarships to do a Masters. The top recuring companies are John Deere, Mahindra, Tafe, and Amul .

Review of PAU, Ludhiana.

Placements: Students are eligible for placements in the last semester, and they are informed about companies by the placement cell through emails. The highest package offered is about 6.5 lacs per annum, and the average package is 3 lacs per annum. Around 50% of students got placed. I am quite satisfied with the university.

Placements: There are no good placements. Only a few companies came to the campus that offers very low packages, which lie between 2.5 LPA and 3 LPA. The university does not support placements of students. However, the courses taught are very useful. Students are trained very well so that they can run their own businesses or help farmers effectively.

It is the best college for Agriculture and allied sciences.

Placements: There are a lot of placements in India as well as abroad. Many students got jobs and some decided to study further. Salaries starting from Rs.10,000 to Rs.2,50,000 per month. Placements were there for food-related industries for roles like a quality manager and AFO etc.

It is a good college, and I suggest you join this college.

Placements: Earlier placements were 100%. But with time, it is declining. But the fun part is, there are endless opportunities on the basis of a degree course. So students should need not worry about the future. The highest salary offered is 2 lacs per month by a good private company. Our course teaches us about the value of farmers in our nation.

This university is very good in the entire Punjab.

Placements: The placements are easy and feasible. The top recruiting companies visited our campus and offered many jobs, like Amul, Verka, Nesle, MTR Foods Ltd., and also government jobs like FCI, NABARD etc. The highest package offered to me was 5 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 2.5 LPA. Many students are interested in Amul only as it is a top recruiting company. About 30-50% of students got jobs in these popular companies. The internship rate is 100% in Amul company only. Placements: There is no campus placements. The campus placement is only for agriculture engineers. You should go for higher studies abroad by scoring good in GRE. You should also go M.Sc. by clearing JRF. There is compulsory training for each student. Salary offer is according to your job.

I love PAU and its faculty.

Placements: From starting, they take students who had 50 percentage in 12th class. I do not know about the proper estimate but I think the starting salary is 25000 for teachers. I do not know about any of the visiting companies. One of the best role of my degree is dietitian. I do not know about any package offered. A total of 50% students got internships.

Placements: Most of the students got the job in the government sector, posts like HDO, ADO and got a good amount of salary. Some of the students went to abroad for higher studies. One of the students got an internship in the USA for the Ph.D. programme. So all the students perform well in their fields.

Placements: Our university has a well-managed placement cell. Many companies visit the campus to hire some of the best brains in the country. But for Biotechnology, the placement is not so good. I was the gold medalist of my batch but still decided not to go to any company and they do not offer a good package to B.Sc. Students. A couple of students did get placed. A good college with good faculty, infrastructure, and campus.

Placements: Almost all the students who reside in India and want a job get placed, and the rest, who want to work in their respective fields, don't apply for jobs. Almost 90% of the students from our senior batch got placed in different fields such as managers in Cooperative Bank or ADOs (agriculture development officers) or FDO (forest development officers) or food department. A great score is needed to get placed in foreign countries.
