Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science and Technology Scholarships and Funding
Scholarships categories:
- Scholarships for each candidate will be decided based on the marks scored in 12th standard and in JEE or equivalent or PMIST Entrance Test for B.Tech programmes (Up to INR 1,80,000).
- For the B.Com, BA, BBA, B.Ed, and B.Sc. programmes, the scholarship amount will be based on the marks scored in the 12th standard and the PMIST Entrance Test. (Up to INR 15,000)
- The sanctioned scholarship will be given throughout the programme subject to the conditions that the student should have an all pass and a minimum of 80% attendance in the previous academic year.
- The decision of the management on the scholarship will be final.

-Physically challenged scholarship

Placements: We have good placement opportunities. The percentage of students placed in our college is 93%. In our course, more than 57 students are placed. The highest package offered is 22 LPA and the lowest package offered is 5 to 8 LPA. The companies are GoGreen, and BioEnvo, and some students got teaching opportunities from top colleges. Internship opportunities are at 69%.
Placements: I wish to improve our college campus placement section. Last month, Zoho visited our institute and selected 16 members from my senior batch. They offered jobs with a salary of 3 LPA as training IT engineers. Our university offers internships in many places such as RETECH SOLUTIONS LIMITED in Chennai, ARMADA INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION LIMITED in Thanjavur, and GR SOFTTECH in Trichy.
Placements: In B.Sc., we are the first batch, so there are no placements yet. But on our campus, companies are coming, but don't expect good placement for them. In B.Sc. cyber security, we have 30 students there. Which is quite good, as per now, cyber security is a great course, I think.
Placements: For architecture, there are no direct placements like other courses. You have to prepare a portfolio with your academic works and apply to the architecture firms. The faculty will help you in preparing and get a job in a firm you are willing to join.
Placements: All students are guaranteed placements in renowned firms, ensuring a 100% placement rate. The course attracts top recruiting firms such as Murali Architects, Warp Architects, and others. Students can expect exciting roles in Architectural planning, Urban designing, 3D modelling, and BIM. The average package offered for this course ranges from 15,000 to 18,000. Additionally, all students secure internships in leading firms across India.
Placements: Sixty percent of students secure placements through college placement services. These students are offered a minimum package of 2 LPA for MCA positions. Companies like TCS are among the top recruiters. However, internships are not provided for all courses. The majority of roles offered are in software development, similar to what these companies provide.
