STEP 2: Periyar University Entrance Exam

STEP 3: Selection Rounds

The seats are assigned to the qualified students depending on the preceding qualifying exam or the entrance examination. In other courses such as MBA, they are also required to have group discussions and personal interviews after the entrance test.

TANCET scores are valid for a period of one year. Candidates aspiring for admission in 2023-24 exam session can only use the TANCET 2023 scores for admission. Candidates who wish for an MBA Admission in any of the TANCET participating colleges in 2024-25 batch must appear for TANCET 2024.

Students can only pursue BSc at Periyar University's affiliated colleges. Admission to BSc course at Periyar University is entirely merit-based. Yes, Periyar University conducted its department-wise entrance exam for multiple courses. For all the on-campus PG courses such as MBA, MA, MSc, MCom, etc., qualifying for the respective entrance exam is mandatory. Periyar University has 3 hostel buildings in order to accommodate the students and research scholars of the university, one each for Women PG Students, Women Research Scholars, and Men Students and Scholars.
