 Yes, UNOM admits candidates in PhD programmes based on merit in entrance-based. Candidates are shortlisted based on scores in the Madras University Entrance Test. These shortlisted candidates become eligible to participate in the personal interview round. The University of Madras also accepts UGC NET/CSIR NET scores. Candidates applying for these entrance exams need not take the university exam and are directly called for the interview round. Anna University releases the TANCET results within a month of the exam date. Soon after the release of the TANCET results, Anna University schedules the release of TANCET scorecard. Candidates can download the TANCET scorecard using the same link within a specified period. After closing of the window to download the scorecard, candidates have to pay a processing fee to get the duplicate TANCET scorecard. TANCET scorecard and hall ticket is required at the time of document verification.

For MBA course admission, candidates must have a valid bachelor’s degree in any subject of the University of Madras or any other university accepted by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto. This is the minimum eligibility criteria, and fulfilment of the same does not confirm selection. For verification purposes, candidates are also required to present the bachelor’s mark sheets and certificate along with other academic certificates during form filling/admission confirmation.
