Satisfied with the faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements were average there were not many companies who came to our college. In the previous batch, almost 30% of the students got placed. I don’t know about the salary offered or the companies which visited as I was not interested in placements. All of us got internships. Those who could not find on their own were referred by the college to companies.

Updated courses and good faculty.

Placements: The placements are going good(as told by our seniors). Students have been placed in good companies like Microsoft etc., with good packages. The highest and lowest package for current batch has not been determined as the session is not over yet. The college has a track record of 100% placement. For the last year, the highest package was Rs. 29 lakhs per annum.

I feel proud to be a PESITian.

Placements: The placements were good. 100% students were placed. The highest package offered in the last year was Rs. 29 lakhs and the lowest offer was nearly Rs. 4 lakhs. The average offer was above Rs. 7.5 lakhs. For this year, the placements are still going on. So the actual figures are not yet out. A lot of companies visited our campus including Microsoft, Walmart, etc. For the current year, a package for Rs. 18 lakhs have been offered by Walmart.

Be ready for a lot of experimentations

Placements: It is hard to get into core companies without giving it our all (less core in EC). Many other non-core (computer science-based) companies come and placements are high in all branches. The average salary offered was 2.5-3 lakhs P.A. I have not heard about the minimum and maximum salary.

A very good place for an overall development

Placements: Placements for the outgoing batch this year (2017) were amazing. The college broke its own record and 250+ students were placed in companies offering a tier-one job. Most of the people were placed in the first round of placements itself. Most of the higher end companies selected many students as they were satisfied by the quality of students. The highest package given was about 27 lacs.

A review of MBA student from PES University.

Placements: The placements are good, it depends on your scores. If you have scored more than 60 percent in your 10, 12th, and graduation, you will get shortlisted for every company easily. The students with less than 60% also shortlisted for many other companies. Major companies like Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, EY, Wipro, ITC, etc., visit our campus to hire the students.

Good college with good placements for CS students.

Placements: The placements are very good for CS and ISE students. They get the average package of Rs. 7-9 LPA. The highest package offered was of Rs. 24 LPA, although that has happened only in one instance. The placements for the other branches, especially mechanical is not that great as they mostly get a job in IT sector with the average package of 3 LPA. The core job of the mechanical branch students is non-existent.

The college is not focused on all round development of the students.

Placements: More than 60% of the students got placed, so the placements for my batch were good. Infosys and Wipro are the mass recruiters of our college and other companies like Sapient, Siemens, Bosch, Ericsson, L&T, etc. also came for recruiting the students. There are no core jobs for electronic students, so most of our batch secured IT jobs. Many students were offered software developer role for the job. Our college is good for the students of CSE and IT departments. The placements are common for the ma...

Not good for mechanical. Good placements for other branches like CS and IS

Placements: Mechanical placements aren't good. CS and IS students usually get placed with EC too. All the eligible candidates are placed. But the college doesn't give chance to participate in the internship as they are too strict for attendance, as a result, students don't have claims for the placement.

Good college experience but average placements.

Placements: The placements were genuinely moderate as MBA was under VTU. However, there were few companies which did hire on a large scale like Genpact, Ocwen financials. Majority of the finance domain got through placements. Marketing and HR graduates were still not placed. Few other companies which came to hire were Mercedes, Honeywell and few consultations.

Good infrastructure and peers.

Placements: Placements and placements process are probably the key distinguishing factor about this university. A lot of high-salary offering companies (starting from 22 LPA this time), visit the campus. There were 100% placements the previous year and in the other past consecutive years.

Good infrastructure and facilities and good placements.

Placements: The placements in the college are good. Most of the offers come from software based companies. So 90 percent of the students studying in CSE and ECE get placed. The average salary is around Rs. 8 lakhs per annum. Reputed companies like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Amazon also make participation in placements.

It is strict but if you want to have a good career then this college is good for that.

Placements: Placements are good for CSE and IT but not for mechanical. This college has a good reputation in Bangalore. The package this year is around 6 lac. The college is strict but has a good reputation so placements will be fine for you. But you have to struggle a lot in mechanical.

The only motivation to join this college is placements.

Placements: The only advantage of joining this college is placements! Every year, more than 100 companies visit the college. So, most of the eligible students get placed. Even I'm placed in 2 companies. Almost every company which comes to our college is well established.

Quality education and placements.

Placements: The placements for the computer science branch are very good as of now, compared to the top colleges in Bangalore. I have heard that the highest package last year was somewhere near 25 lakhs offered by Codenation. The average package lies somewhere between 5-6 lakhs according to my seniors. About the internship, there are 15-20 companies visiting the college for hiring interns every year. The stipend depends on the company. The percentage of students getting the internship is 20% as per my senio...

Industry exposure along with studies.

Placements: Placements are very good for marketing but when it comes to finance, the placements are OK. Top recruiters are KPMG, Deloitte, ICICI, Axis and Goldman Sachs. It is comparatively one of the best colleges for MBA. The average package lies between 4 to 5 lakhs whereas the maximum package was 8 lakhs last year for the HR stream.

Everything depends on you, whether you are good or not.

Placements: For CS and IS, it is very good and almost all people are getting placed if they had done well in 4 years. The mechanical branch placement depends only on your background and it also depends on how much references you have and all. For ECE, it is good if you have done internships and you have scored good marks.

Absolute worth of money, very good placements, friendly faculty.

Placements: The placements are good for our seniors. Almost all the students having a CGPA of more than 6.75 (i.e. 60% and above) were placed in reputed companies such as Deloitte, ITC, Kotak Mahindra and many more. The highest package was around 10 lakhs, lowest was around 3 lakhs. Students have to do 6 weeks of internship after the completion of 2nd semester i.e. summer internships.
