College life in Pondicherry university.
Placements: Around 50% students will be placed. As my course is political Science, there will be no much placements and students also not opt for placements, rather they opt for writing UGC NET or UPSC or going to do PG. Many students will drop out after 3 years only.
Infrastructure: Although the infrastructure of the college is old, new departments were being constructed and they will be inaugurated soon. But now also they are nice and all the facilities like library are available within the campus only. Wi-Fi was so abundantly available only after we got the registration number and password. Mobile network was the worst at this place. Hostel was quiet good but it will be changed every year. The main problem was with the food. Canteen was good but was small in mess.
Faculty: Teachers were and they will provide quality education and maximum alla the teachers are only. But sometimes they will arrange scholars for taking some classes. This course will be relevant to people who are willing take as their career. Semester are little stuff but are manageable.
Other: The main problem arising is with transport and the administration is also not so good. I am enjoying a little bit. Satisfied partially not fully.

A beautiful campus with healthy academics.
Placements: The university doesn't offer direct placements, but there is an ocean of opportunities there. What I mean is that faculty are efficient in guiding for proper destiny. The schools of sciences, management and mathematics are conducting direct campus recruitments.
Infrastructure: In case of infrastructure, Pondicherry University is excellent. The university has sufficient classrooms, having high power back up, high-speed Wi-Fi. The labs are well equipped. The central library is awesome, and every school will have their own library. Separate computer labs and seminar halls for each school are available. The university has a health centre, and in case of sports, the university has a physical education department and is having a good cricket stadium and an extra stadium for the maximum utilisation.
Faculty: In case of faculty, each department is holding a high profile resume, but most of the faculty are merely concentrating on research and PG programmes. So most of the integrated programmes are handled by guest faculty only. Most of the faculty have a doctoral degree, and they are well reputed also. The curriculum is based on CBCS regulations, i.e. credit system.
Other: It's a central university beautifully spread across 800-acre campus. There are placements for science and management schools. It is regularly conducting national and international conferences, successful dialogues. It is having a UNESCO centre on the campus. It also has good flora and fauna. The university will conduct several fests for every department. The university will conduct hostel days.
