Satisfied because of faculty/ There were no campus placement for our course.

Placements: There is no campus placement for this course. However, some students cracked the UGC NET exams after graduation. Some students are also preparing for UPSC, SSC, and RRB exams in their free time. Assistant Professor is the top role for the department's students after qualifying for the NET.

Pondicherry University with only vibe.

Placements: Very few students get placed through the cell. The university seems to be more interested in selling placement services than actually getting students placed. And the packages offered to students are very low. In my course, there was no placement at all.

Good campus climate but could do better with infrastructural development and a mobile network.

Placements: 45 is the intake of students every year for anthropology, but there are no placements done. But there are internship opportunities after or during graduation. Students can get into civil services, museums, archeological and anthropological surveys of India by opting for anthropology.

Better for students for enjoying campus and night life.

Placements: The placement cell at Pondicherry University was much more active in the past than it is now. In previous years, there were active placements in courses like MBA and MCA, and the university was ranked higher. However, the university's ranking has since declined, and placements are now offered for a maximum of INR 50,000.

One of the best college campuses available.

Placements: More than 75 percent of students were placed in our college, and over 20 percent of students secured internships on campus. The highest salary package offered is 15 lakhs per annum, while the lowest package is 4 lakhs per annum. Many MNCs, including IBM, visit for recruitment.

Campus life is too good. There is no restriction on hostel timing.

Placements: There is no campus placement, but some students cracked the UGC NET exams during their post-graduation. Some students are also preparing for UPSC, SSC, and RRB in their free time, as class hours are very few. Assistant professor is the top role for the department's students after qualifying for the NET.

Pondicherry university is the best that all I would like to say.

Placements: The placement record at our college is outstanding, with 90% of students getting placed. The college provides ample opportunities for internships, and also provides good books and handouts to help students prepare for placements. Most of the students who got placed were doing well in academics and extra-curricular activities.

Great campus experience!

Placements: English Literature does not have much scope for placements, but if you are in courses like MBA or M.Sc., then plenty of placements are available. The average placement package is around ₹4 LPA. MBA students are often hired for HR and other roles.

My life at Pondicherry University.

Placements: In my course, M.A. history, there is no placement at Pondicherry University; other commerce and science subjects only have placement. And my department did not provide any internships; we did not have an internship program. Nobody got placements in our department.

PU is good for enjoying life, not for academics.

Placements: No one was placed as such. Everyone was left to fend for themselves. If you study Political Science and International Relations, the situation during our batch was pathetic, partly due to COVID-19. Everyone also had to find internships for themselves. The faculty was generally useless and unhelpful.

Infrastructure is good but fees are high.

Placements: Most MBAs only have placements. Some other departments also provide placement facilities, according to the arrival of recruiting agencies. Many companies provide internships for students from different departments. So many well-packaged offers are there for MBA students in the banking sector.

It is the best place for the college experience.

Placements: No placements were offered at that time, but currently, the department was making arrangements for placements. But the knowledge students get there will help them to find a good job on their own. Many students studied there now and were well settled. If students were capable to study on their own, students will get a very better understanding of the subject and its environment.

Placements: Among all the students, almost 75% of the students got placed in good companies from our course. Top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, Tata Consultancy and Cognizant. Salary packages offered to students are reasonable for the roles provided to them. Courses offered were up to date to help students to gain knowledge in their working field.

The classroom experience is disastrous, but the campus experience is beautiful.

Placements: Placements opportunities in our university for French are quite low as it is a central university, but they can easily tie-up with MNCs and schools for wider opportunities. Out of 62 students, only 12 students got placed. Considering the average eligible candidates, the university can tie-up with MNCs.

I am satisfied with the university.

Placements: Most of our seniors have been placed in reputed companies, mainly in the software field. Apart from that, there is also an exchange programme in which students with good grades can join to have exposure and experience in France. This college is one of the best in South India for this course.

Placements: There are no placements for anthropology, but anyone can study this subject if they have passion. Anthropology is a very interesting subject and provides opportunities in every field. The major scope for this subject lies in the research field.
