One of the most prestigious colleges in Kolkata, Presidency University, College Street.

Faculty: The teachers here are really helpful and qualified, with doctorates. The course curriculum is absolutely relevant. The semester exams may seem a bit difficult since you just got into new surroundings like college, but everything will help you to better yourself. The end-semester exams are taken out of 70 marks, and according to me, they are moderate.

Review of Presidency University, Kolkata.

Faculty: The applied economics curriculum is tailored to meet industry standards, particularly in the final two semesters, preparing students for real-world challenges. While the faculty boasts high qualifications, some may not always offer the desired support, with a few instances of snobbishness and bias. However, the department compensates with enriching lectures by visiting professors from across the globe, enhancing the learning experience for dedicated students.

One of the best colleges in Kolkata, West Bengal. Fantastic faculty infrastructure and facilities.

Faculty: Every teacher is highly qualified. I will give an example: in our department, every teacher has done a PhD from an IIT or IISER. They are very helpful. We don't need outside tuition; lectures are enough. There are computer labs for 30 to 40 people in each department. The chemistry department has around 5 labs and personal workstations for scholars, too. The syllabus is fully CBCS-based and industry-ready. Exams are good enough. A 7.5 CGPA is good if you can get it.

One of the best college for Msc in Economics.

Faculty: The teachers in the department are very helpful, experienced and knowledgeable. They make the students understand the topic deeply and easily. This allows students to interact positively with teachers and develop interest in the topics. Semester examinations are conducted by the teacher in an efficient and timely manner. The study schedule is appropriate. About 70% of students pass the exams.

The best college ever I have been seen.

Faculty: All teachers are qualified and competent. Excellent supervision by all teachers. The course curriculum is geared towards more research opportunities and subsequent admission to good institutes. Semester exams are so difficult but manageable. Ideal for the intellectual development of students.

Our college has good faculty members, and it is worth studying.

Faculty: Professors in our department are a blessing to us. They are not only adept in their areas but also pay attention to every single query of ours. Texts are well chosen. They include important texts and theories of literature for English honours students. It would be great if Jane Austen were included in our syllabus as well. Exams are quite good. The pass percentage in our department is 98%. The overall pass percentage in the university is 85%.

Dissatisfied with the faculty and the overall facilities.

Faculty: The current course curriculum is valuable for our future prospects; however, the teaching quality does not align with the updated syllabus. It is recommended to appoint new, well-qualified teachers. While the semester exams are designed to challenge and enhance students' knowledge, it appears that grades are impacted by interactions with professors rather than academic merit. It is important to maintain respectful behaviour towards all faculty members, even in situations of mistreatment. As per ...

Going to your dream college.

Faculty: For faculty, members are very good and highly qualified. The teaching skills are extremely well organized and provide a lot of in-depth knowledge, which is enriching for students. The semester exams are moderately difficult; however, last-minute preparations wouldn't help score an SGPA of more than grade C or B.

Presidency College Review.

Faculty: The applied Economic programme focuses on aligning its curriculum with industry requirements, especially in the last two semesters, to equip students with practical skills for workforce. Although the faculty members are highly qualified, there have been occasional issues with adequate support and some instances of elitism and bias. Nevertheless the department makes up for this by inviting guest lecturers from around the world enriching the educational experiences for committed students.

I am satisfied with this college.

Faculty: Our professors are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant to pure mathematics. It is not for applied mathematics. This course provides good knowledge. It doesn't make students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 70%.

The college has good infrastructure, facilities, and a very good environment.

Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified, but in some cases, they were not helpful and supportive. The course was very good. They were fully focused on producing research scholars. Exams were most difficult. Almost 40% was the passing percentage. Our college didn't focus on making students industry-ready.
