Rabindranath Tagore University Scholarships and Funding
Shiksha Mitra Scholarships:-
The scholarship scheme is applicable for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses and around Rs.1 Crore worth of scholarships are awarded under the scheme each year in the form of fee waivers.
1. Candidates who have Above 91% marks in the qualifying examination will get a 40% tuition fee waiver.
2. Candidates who have Above 85% - 90% marks in the qualifying examination will get a 25% tuition fee waiver.
3. Candidates who have Above 80% - 84% marks in the qualifying examination will get a 20% tuition fee waiver.
4. Candidates who have Above 70% - 79% marks in the qualifying examination will get a 15% tuition fee waiver.
5. Candidates Below 69% - 60% marks in the qualifying examination will get a 10% tuition fee waiver.
The scholarship scheme is not applicable to B.Sc. (Agriculture), B.Sc. (Nursing), GNM, LLM, M.Phil. B.Ed., B.Ed. (PT) and B.P.Ed.

Placements: Career opportunities are available within the country as well as abroad. Top performers during internships got placed in reputed institutions and clinics. We got internships that included payment during the time of college. Most of the students got placed, at least in small clinics.
Placements: Few alumni started their own software companies, which were truly beneficial for all the freshers. Normally, in placements students were divided into two sessions for better focus during training. The highest salary package offered is 7.87 LPA.
Placements: Approx. 10% to 15% of students placed in CSE every session. The highest package for CSE is around 4-4.5 LPA. And the average package is around 3 LPA. Top recruiters are mostly startup companies. Around 20% of students got internships, mostly in startups. Data analytics, full stack developer, etc. are the top roles offered.
Placements: The grading system plays a significant role in placement activities. Meritorious students undergo extensive training sessions to get them placed in top companies. Leading organisations like Cognizant, TCS, and Tech Mahindra participate in drives organized by our college.
Placements: There are very less chances of placement, because due to its B.Sc. programme, companies have very less interest. It is fortunate if the company selects you, and the role will be different than what you studied. Sometimes, it may be BPO or data entry jobs. Here, you always see jobs being searched every day.
Placements: At this college, 25–30% of the students get placements in our course. In the B.Com., most of the students pursue the Masters degree. The average package offered at this college was between 2 and 4 LPAs. At our college, some banking and finance companies visit for placements.
