The first unitary University in North Bengal which offers both UG & PG courses in its own Campus.
Placements: 80% of the students have been assigned to my class. The highest package is offered at Rs 6000, the lowest package is around Rs 2500, and the average package is Rs 2150 offered in my course. There are no recruiting companies that came for my course. My course and companies did not provide any internships.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are nearby and are quite clean with all the facilities. Wi-Fi is available. Aquaguard with cool/hot water is available. The department has a library with all types of books. There are physics and chemistry labs at the university. The lab is also neat and clean and full of needed equipment. The university has a big playground where students practise cricket, football, martial arts, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are so helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are so helpful with good behaviour and amazing learning skills, and they are available for us even in the WhatsApp group. It doesn't make the industry ready. Semester exams are quite difficult. But if a student attends all of the college classes, then the exam would be easier for him/her. The pass percentage is 75%.
Other: I chose the course because I like math subjects. Honestly, the best thing about my course is that it gives me a clear understanding of problem-solving in math.

Review of my university.
Placements: The placement rate for students in my course is quite low, and it is not considered a good value for money. On average, the package offered to students in this course is only 15k. There are no companies actively recruiting from this course. However, around 10 percent of students are able to secure internships easily. In general, many students end up pursuing careers as teachers.
Infrastructure: The department I belong to is mathematics, which is equipped with specialized classrooms. It provides its students and teachers with their own Wi-Fi network. Although the department itself does not have a dedicated library, the university offers a vast library that caters to the needs of students from all departments.
Faculty: The mathematics department is staffed with highly intelligent teachers, although our head of department can be quite rude. The teachers are extremely helpful and friendly, and they are also highly qualified. The teaching quality is considered to be average and basic. The semester exams are challenging, but the internal exams are relatively easy, allowing most students to pass with ease.
Other: Overall my university is good.
