Commonly asked questions On Comparisons
Q: Is Rajiv Gandhi University as good as Dibrugarh University?
The Rajiv Gandhi University is "as good as" Dibrugarh University, it cannot be said with certainty. Here is a fair comparison of a few important elements:
- Academics: Founded in 1965, Dibrugarh University is an older, more reputable university. It provides a greater selection of courses, particularly for graduate students.Rajiv Gandhi University is a relatively new, but rapidly expanding, university, having been founded in 2007. There are currently fewer programme options available.
- Reputation and Rankings: Dibrugarh University enjoys a good reputation in India and is listed by a number of national ranking organizations. This demonstrates the solid reputation it has accrued over many years.Being a relatively new university, Rajiv Gandhi University's reputation and national ranking are still growing. However, it is a top option in Arunachal Pradesh at the state level.
- Programs Offered: A vast array of undergraduate and graduate programs covering various fields are available from both. When it comes to humanities and pure Science programs, Dibrugarh has an advantage. Rajiv Gandhi prioritizes technical and applied programs more than others.
- Faculty: A variety of highly skilled and seasoned professors teach at both universities. The average credentials and research track record of Dibrugarh faculty may be superior. Its age is a contributing factor in this.
