Enjoying in the campus. Full of greenery and safe environment for girls.
Placements: The university has a good placement record. Over 85% of the students are placed in different sectors. The average salary package is Rs. 3-4 lakhs per annum. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, Accenture, and many others. The university also provides internship opportunities. Overall, the placement scenario is good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Rama Devi Women's University is very good and clean. The classrooms are a good size, and some are air conditioned. They are equipped with blackboards and smart boards. The university also has a library named Kuntala Kumari Library, which has a wide range of books available.
Faculty: The teachers at this college are well qualified and experienced, and they teach well. Their teaching methods are very good, and they are able to solve all the students' problems. There are two exams per semester, mid-semester and end-of-semester. The exams are moderately difficult. The course offers a wide range of jobs in different fields.
Other: I chose commerce because I have an interest in finance and business. The university has more than 20 clubs, including NCC and NSS. Fests, functions, programs, and seminars occur on a regular basis. The overall vibes are good.

Untold stories of Rama Devi Women's University.
Placements: Rama Devi Women's University is a very recognised and 1st Women's University in the state of Odisha. Students above 78% were eligible and got an opportunity to get admission to the University for a B.Com course. The highest package offered to one after completion of this course is 6,00,000 and the lowest is 3,50,000. Infosys, Bajaj, and Finance are the top recruited companies for this course. More than 40% of students got an internship in Infosys. 30% of students got internship in Bajaj and many students got an opportunity to get a seat for further studies. Top roles like marketing manager, accountant etc.
Infrastructure: There are much more facilities available at the University for students. There are high-quality teaching facilities given to students, also there is a smart classroom and smart way of teaching which enables better understanding. There is also a separate building for the library named Kuntala Kumari Library. There are also tiled rooms and benches. There is also Wi-Fi available at the University. There are sports organized every year.
Faculty: Yes, Teachers in the university are very much kind and cooperative and friendly to the students. Most of them were M.Com, M.Phil, PhD or MBA. They are well experienced and qualified for the job. The teaching was often class. This is the basic course for a normal Commerce student. Sees exam was a bit difficult. The pass percentage is 33.
Other: I choose this course to maintain a basic degree so that I can continue my further study in this line. There should be a separate entrance exam conducted to get a seat in the B.Com course so that those students who have not achieved up to their satisfaction level marks due to some unfavourable circumstances can get a second chance. Every year in Feb an event is organised named Basant Utsav and there are a lot of crowds. University organizes at the level best so that everyone enjoys. Students can apply for many scholarships like State Scholarships, National Scholarships etc.

    Rama Devi Women’s University’s review.
Placements: As it is a government college, the placements and job opportunities are not available on-campus. Criteria for getting placed would include being well educated, experienced and having a set of skills. As I'm in my first year, I really have no idea if companies have visited before or in between because we don't get informed about that. My plan after graduation is to prepare for MBA.
Infrastructure: The campus is literally big. The infrastructure is attractive. It looks very good. Many books are available in the library and you can study there from 10 am till 5 pm. I don't think they prioritize sports and curriculum that much. As I'm not in NCC or NSS, I don't really take part in extra curricular activities.I don't live in the college hostel so I have no idea about the food quality but I know it's affordable and cheap.
Faculty: I chose this course because I am interested in business and finance. The qualifications of the faculty are really good. They're well educated and well mannered. Their behavior towards the students is friendly as well. There's no difficulty in the exams, at least students don't have to face anything.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in business and finance. The qualifications of the faculty are really good. They're well educated and well mannered. Their behavior towards the students is friendly as well.

Our college provides excellent teaching quality but the food is worst.
Placements: Our college does not provide expected placements. Companies like BPO come to offer telecalling jobs with an average salary package of 1.4 LPA - 1.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are newly developed and buildings are properly made. There is a water shortage in the academic buildings. The infrastructure of the government hostel is good and provides accommodation for students in a room. A canteen is not available on the university campus and the one which exists is always closed. The food served in the hostel mess is pathetic and insufficient. Food is worst in more than 3 hostels which are very badly cooked and tasteless.
Faculty: Faculty members are great. They provide good teaching and mentors under this course. Students need to prepare for mid-term and semester exams. Teachers help students to clear their doubts and provide expected questions for revision. It is a CBCS pattern so students from CBSE backgrounds face many problems in the initial days but eventually, they would get acquainted with the pattern. Quality and quantity matter a lot in exams.
Other: University is good for graduation but never opt for a hostel because the food is not good.

Overall it is fine but there are no facilities for placement.
Placements: 89% is the highest percentage for our batch but there are no placement and internship options. So there is a need for improvement here. The University needs to give special attention to these issues.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are fine but hostel facilities are not good, it could be better. LIbrary is not good because there are no new books.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and polite. But on the other side faculty is not sufficient for specific subjects due to which students are suffering.
Other: It's an interesting course but it can be better and also needs special concentration towards placements.

    Why Ramadevi Women's University?
Placements: So I basically study at Ramadevi Women's University at Bhubaneswar, which is the only women's university in Odisha. I'm studying B.Com and my class size is 192. Our university provides scholarship programs, internship projects. Students with good results were given placements to different private and public organizations.
Infrastructure: Inside the campus, so many facilities are available, like an open gym, playground, basketball ground, badminton court, music room, big auditorium for huge gatherings, tailor shop, canteen, groceries, hostel, NCC block, library, all particular labs for specific departments, research room, etc.
Faculty: All the teachers of the department are well-skilled and trained. They all help us in study, even if there are extra issues we have with us. All the heads of the department even visit our classes and interact with students very often. We, in total, have 8 semesters for 4 years of learning at the university.
Other: From the very beginning of my schooling days, I had thought to take commerce for my 11th and 12th and then after I took B.Com. In our campus, there is a monthly visit by experts and motivational speakers. There are many extra fun and skill-gaining programs too.
