Private university means dissatisfaction.

Placements: At least 40% of students got placed in different companies. The average package in our course is INR 5–6 LPA. Bajaj, Wipro, etc., are the top recruiting companies on the list. There is no information about the internship. Software Developer is the main role offered.

There is lack of management system.

Placements: The batch was good but there is no management system at all. Only 20-25% students were placed and in startups only. They were not cooperating with students. Always focused on assignments that's it. Ask to write 20 pages of assignment for a single topic and for a single subject you supposed to write 10 assignment.

Review of Rayat and Bahra Institute of Engineering and Bio-Technology.

Placements: Around 70% of students got placed in our course with a good salary package. The highest salary package offered was around 9 LPA, but only 2-3 students grabbed it. Maximum students of the batch got placed with around 2-3.5 LPA salary package. The lowest salary package of1.5 LPA, which is offered was by the small companies in Mohali industrial area. Wipro recruited maximum students. Other companies like Amdocs, Sapient, Paytm, ClickLabs and One Infonet visited our campus placements. But they didn'...

Placements were not up to the mark.

Placements: I have done B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and passed in 2017. About 10-15% of the students were only placed in our course. The highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month and the average salary offered was Rs 20,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. Top companies like Tech Mahindra and Ericson visited the campus. The top role offered is customer advisory. The college has good infrastructure and zero placements. I am partially satisfied with faculty.

Placements: None of the students got placed in the placements, and no legal firms visit the campus for the law students. None of the students got internships from college. Placements are non-efficient. This college is not for the law students who want to go for the corporate side, it is better for litigation, and it is not the best one.

RBU is an average university.

Placements: There are no placements. I mean to say there is no process and practice for providing placements. You just get your degree and be on your ways. There are weekly internships every semester and are marked accordingly. You have to go on your to get urself placed.

Rayat and Bahra university ( Mohali campus ) review.

Placements: Well I graduated in 2014, so I can only talk about the scenario which was back in 2014. Only IT companies used to visit our campus. That too about 4-5 companies. I was fortunate enough to be placed in the very first company to visit, which was UST Global.

My experience as a student of mechanical engineering at Rayat Bahra.

Placements: Even for the mechanical branch students, they offer placements in the IT field, which was very disappointing. Few had to get off-campus placements, and few went off to foreign countries for higher studies. So placements are okay in this college but are not strictly for mechanical.

Very Good infrastructure and quite a good faculty.

Placements: The placements are quite good in this college however I didn't get placed because of my backlogs. But eventually there are no companies for Mechanical branch and few for ECE. The CS and IT companies are alot here in our college I think it is a good decision if you are from CSE feild.

Rayat and Bahra review. College campus that encompasses every course.

Placements: Our Senior batch was placed fine. Scarce placements. Well for batch 2015 pass out placements were scarce in comparison to other colleges of the area. Local companies came for placements. No big names except for Wipro. 100% placements never happens, but unfortunately for our college only 10% of students get placed. They always put on boards but never accomplish that task. In comparison to other college like Chandigarh University. They have great placements records. College didn't have a stable pr...

Average college with good courses and infrastructure.

Placements: There will be no placements for the mechanical students as only one company came there instead of having their own automotive cluster of companies. I am very disappointed with the management team as they promised to bring many companies, but they just fooled us. Yes, there were placements of other branches, I want to lie that some were placed, with very good packages.

Overall, it is a mixed experience. The quality of education needs to be improved.

Placements: In 2013, companies like IBM and Infosys visited the college for on-campus placements. Average package offered was around 4 LPA. Companies recruited students from CSE, and IT trades only, whereas mechanical placements lagged. Quality of placements, as well as studies, needs to be improved a lot.

My experience of the Rayat and Bahra college, Mohali campus.

Placements: I got placed in the Unisys Global Services (Tech Support). About 30% of the students were placed in the on-campus placements, and the rest got placed in the off-campus placements. The companies like the Wipro, Unisys, IBM, GST Global, etc., came to our campus. The highest salary offered was around Rs. 9-10 lakhs per annum while the average salary was about Rs. 3 lakhs per annum.

No placement opportunities for law students at all, good infrastructure, average teaching.

Placements: The college failed to avail any placement opportunities for the students of the department of law. However, the students were given opportunities of interning under prominent lawyers of District Court Chandigarh, Punjab and Haryana High Court in the fourth and the final year respectively.

First visit other private colleges before arriving here.

Placements: The placement in our university is average. Very few companies visit our campus and that too in the months of November and December. Very low packages are offered. Then, the placed students are not given call letter after training. The students have to look for off-campus placements.

This college is not worth the money

Placements: Well, placements are below average for science Department (University School of Sciences, USS) and that is because of many reasons. 1. Students do not take much interest in placement. Most of the students are only degree seekers. 2. A number of companies that are coming to pick specifically chemistry students are either 0 or 1 or 2 at max. 3. Even if a company comes to pick chemistry students, the students are not knowledgeably eligible. This is because of poor teaching techniques followed by th...

Average college. Faculty is good but placements are average.

Placements: Placement is not that great in our college. Only a few students get placed. About 5-10% students were placed from my batch. The salary offered was around 3-6 lakhs p.a. Wipro visited the college for recruitment. Only a few students were recruited. 70-80% students did an internship.

Sports activities are well and good. Placements of CSE and ECE are excellent.

Placements: No one was placed from mechanical engineering as there were so few or no companies for placements. The companies were fake as a few students were placed but they did not get any further notice from the companies. The other branches were good. Most of my friends from other streams like CSE and IT were placed with good packages averaging at about 4 lacs.
