One of the best private universities in Punjab.

Placements: The placement is good in all the branches. Placement totally depends on your ability and knowledge. Till now, more than 400 companies visited RIMT university like Airtel, Dell, Google, Mahindra, Tommy Hilfiger, etc., and given placements for more than 40000 students.

The RIMT's education for future.

Placements: There are awesome moments in RIMT University. All my teachers have greater experience in teaching. Their way teaching to the students is good. I got placed Venky Digital Company in Mohali in which this company is for online marketing called Digital marketing. I am in a role of digital marketing executive, and I'm satisfied with my job.

University is good, but you have to improve education and security there.

Placements: When we talk about placements, a B.Tech student would expect big MNCs or maybe a startup, but they want to go for a technical job. I have joined many placement drives, 9 out of 10 were from BPO background, so no one could go. After studying hard for 4 years and spending so much money, we can not work for a BPO at Rs. 10,000-15,000. Placement is the main thing that needs to be improved in the university.

We are satisfied totally with RIMT University because of good environment and infrastructure.

Placements: In this college, the placement rate is not good enough. If you get very good marks, then any small company will select you at a very low salary. Our seniors were not satisfied with the placement of this college. Nowadays, they can't prefer this college for B.Tech or any other courses. 40 to 50% of the students of this college get campus placements.

This is not the college for you if you are looking for the quality education.

Placements: The placements were quite low, and low reputed companies visited us and that too very few. Only about 7-8 got placed in the campus placements. The salary is the same to every student, which was about 10 thousand per month. The companies like Sawraj, Investor Clinic, etc., visit the campus and offer the role of helper and associates. Around, 2% of the students got placed. There was a placement cell, and it is only useful to them, who were known to the staff.

They have a good infrastructure and a good placement record.

Placements: Placement will be on your own as the company picks only the quality. You cannot dream of a bright future if you do not have talent. The college, however, helps in getting placed as many named institutions as invited for the placement of the students. The companies are mainly Chandigarh based, and marketing jobs are offered more often.

A college that can fulfill your dreams towards excellency.

Placements: The placement cell of the college is very good and student-oriented. The companies signed MOU with the placement cell is also very good in nature. The average package that students get is 3 lakhs per annum. From my 2012 batch, numerous students got selected.

Overall average in all the things.

Placements: The placements offered were poor for our batch as well as seniors batch. Mostly BPO jobs were offered by the companies, but the students want the development lines. The salary packages offered were average. 20% of the students got an internship. The lowest stipend offered by the companies is 0. The maximum stipend offered is 18K.

If you want to waste your time and money. Then you should join this university.

Placements: The placements are not assured for the students. Few local companies visit this university. Overall, they get placed through this university is itself a difficult task. Some better companies visit the campus, but a handful of students get placed in those companies.

The best college in Punjab to get education and placement.

Placements: Their placement department is very supportive, and they try to get placed every student. I also got placed in a reputed company, and in my class, almost every student got placed in a very reputed company. You can get help at any time from them, and they are very supportive.

Overall, the faculty, infrastructure in hostels, canteens and other things are good.

Placements: I don't know much about placements as my degree will complete in 2020, but from my seniors I have heard that at least 50% of the students got placed every year, the lowest salary was about 2 lakhs per annum, and the highest was somewhat near about 6.5 lacs per annum

Very big companies come for placements were over 99% of the students get selected.

Placements: There are good placements where the students of all the branches have to participate, the mechanical, electronic, electrical, civil, and computer science. I would suggest taking the admission in RIMT because I am RIMTian welcome to all for admission for different types of courses. The teachers and principal also resolve the problems if students need, training for interviews to represent himself and herself.

Dissatisfied because of the placement record of my batch in 2015.

Placements: On this factor, I would say RIMT is lagging behind. I graduated from the college in 2015 and only 40% of my total batch strength got placed in companies which is way below the satisfactory level. The visit of companies for placements on the campus is very less in most of the streams except companies for CSE students. Although I graduated in the electronics stream, I got placed in an IT company i.e. TCS, which shows almost no presence of core companies visiting the RIMT campus. ...

I am satisfied. A good place to study.

Placements: Placements were okay. Various companies came to our college for campus placement such as TCS, Infosys, etc. Our college arranges various industrial visits and also provide extra classes for the preparation of GATE or TOEFL for higher education. Various industrial meets happen in our college that provide the actual exposure of corporate to the students.

A good choice for learning.

Placements: In my time, very few IT companies like Infogain, Cavisson, Ginger, Lava etc. visited for placement. That's why very few of our batchmates got placed. I was one of them. But now it's good to hear that good MNCs have also visited. The college should bring good companies like TCS, HCL, Infosys etc.

If you want to waste your time and money, only then join this college. 3/5 stars.

Placements: Placement opportunities are less in our college and they do not provide any pre-placements training. There is no facility of aptitude test preparation for clearing the mandatory stage of any placement. It has the worst guidance for placement and they do not help anyone for the upcoming placements in nearby locations.

Infrastructure is good as compared to faculty members and other things.

Placements: Some companies come here for placements but hardly 2% students are selected and a package of 2 to 3 LPA is maximum. If you want to pursue courses like hotel management, mass communication, MBA etc, you can go for it. I would not recommend for BTech/MTech. The placement is just for the namesake.

It is overall a good place with a beautiful and large campus, and nice, helpful faculty.

Placements: For once, I must agree that many companies visit the college to conduct the placement drive, but I have seen a few cases of fake companies that selected the students and when the student went to the office of the company, they rejected the student saying they had never gone to this college for placement. I think you should fetch and research all the details before taking admission there. When it comes to the package, it is not sufficient to start a career, especially when you are hired from a c...

Good campus life. Techfest and annual functions are held every year. Good exposure to co-curicular activities. There are a lot of students hailing from bihar and Uttrakhand, Jammu. Hostel life is great, DJ nights are held for students. Could use some Clubs for more exposure of talent. In all one of the good collegesof Punjab.
