Ltd. without any verification just for status, and that company has taken Rs. 15,000 from 33 students without providing a single job to us. Placements: There are no placements of our batch as I'm in 3rd year. Campus selection is only for the final year students. In our college, CS and IT department students mostly get placed as compared to all other departments. In other departments like civil, electrical, and mechanical, very few students get placed.

Placements: In the current scenario, we have about 20-25 students placed in a class of 72 from a 4th year with the highest salary of 3.5 lacs per annum and the lowest of 2.75 lacs per month. Placements: This college is best for the students, who want to settle in their life with the highest package. Our college has maintained its good placements records from the time it established. The various reputed companies like Bajaj and Tata conduct placements programme in our college. The highest package given by these companies is up to 10 LPA.

Placements: The college is good for extra curriculum and activities, but not for placements as they are not at all good. If you want to get admission here try for off-campus placements or else you have to struggle in your career. You can get disappointed easily here. This is a negative factor.

Placements: There are fair placements across the departments with leading recruiters recruiting in large numbers. Companies like the Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, NVidea, John Deere, Fluor, Hella, GE, Larsen and Toubro Limited, Shapoorji Pallonji Contracting Engineers, etc., visit the college. Placements: The placements of the college is average. Approximately 10 companies visited the campus for placements. The salary package offered to the students ranges from 1.5 to 2.5 LPA. The placement opportunities for IT and Computer Science students were good compared to the other branches.

Placements: There are zero placements for the civil branch in core companies. You can apply for other software firms that hang around the campus often for other branches. Retail companies do try their luck in the college sometimes. Otherwise, in placement wise, Gcoea is bad for the civil branch.

Placements: My college has very good placements. Our main recruiter is TCS as it had selected 153 students in 2015. Other companies who recruit here are Larsen and Toubro, Bosch, Valley Momentum Hyderabad, etc. The highest salary was 10 lakhs per annum and the average salary was three to four lakhs per annum.

Placements: First of all, on-campus placements are not good as on-campus placement drives happen rarely. The only option for good placements is to attend pool-campus drives at nearby locations. The training and placement department is not able to bring good companies to our college.

Placements: The placement is good only for computer science. Usually, 90-95 % got placements(CS). This year, it was 80%(CS). The college is not good for internships. I got an internship offer but I was not allowed to go. Because you must have 75% attendance to appear for the exam. No one ever goes for the internship from BTech. The highest package is 4 LPA, the lowest is 2.5 LPA and the average is 3 LPA.

Govt. College of Engineering Amravati or 'GCOEA' as we call it, is one of the premier autonomous govt. institutes in the state of Maharashtra. It is ranked 39 in the latest survey by outlook. The training and placement cell is not that well updated. Campus placement is like 20 students out of 400 students.
