Absolutely satisfied with my college because of faculty, good placement and good infrastructure.
Placements: About 40% of students get placed, and the majority go on to higher education. The average salary package is around 4-5 LPA. Companies that have recruited here include Dhanuka, Chemical Fertilizers, Dabur, and Britannia. Students also get internship opportunities; during my time in my batch, some students got internships at Dhanuka Agritech. About 40% of students get internship opportunities. The maximum roles offered are for field sales, sugarcane inspector, and marketing.
Infrastructure: The university has good facilities and infrastructure. The classrooms and labs are well-equipped, and the wifi works well on campus. The library is newly inaugurated, and it has excellent facilities. The hostels have good food and comfortable rooms. The university organizes sports competitions every year, and students can participate in national-level competitions.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, and the curriculum is relevant to the field. Attendance is strictly enforced, with 85% required, but the course load is manageable for students who are good learners. Semester exams are not difficult, and the passing percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because there is a lot of scope for growth in the agriculture sector. There are also a lot of government exams that can lead to a good salary. However, employment opportunities should be increased in this sector, as there are not that many jobs in private companies. The campus surroundings are great, and students can enjoy college life to the fullest. In addition, there are scholarships for students from Uttar Pradesh and ICAR scholarships for students who came through ICAR. Sports and other competitions such as debates, dance, singing, skits, and essays are also held from time to time.

The campus vibe is very good for teaching and research.
Placements: Mostly, most students are placed after completing this course. The highest package for placements is around 4-6 LPA, while the lowest placement is approximately 2.5-3.0 LPA annually. Most students participate in internship programs, and the college is connected to various companies and entrepreneurs.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are available throughout the hostel, labs, classrooms, library, and college campus. Labs and classrooms are in proper working condition, with smart boards and digital boards in the classrooms. Hostel facilities are excellent, and food options are available in every hostel. The university also has a hospital for the medical needs of students.
Faculty: The faculty is well qualified, with excellent teaching experience and innovative teaching skills. The teachers help improve students' research knowledge and fieldwork skills. The course curriculum includes internships or training programs and extracurricular activities.
Other: I chose this course to improve my commercial agricultural skills and knowledge. The best part of this course is enhancing the productivity of agricultural and horticultural crops and promoting high-tech and precision agriculture.

Good college for agriculture students with best facilities, average placement, and infrastructure.
Placements: I am a BSc (hons) Ag student in SVPUAT Meerut. In my course, in one batch there are 125 students and the highest package is 5 lakh per year and the lowest package is 3 lakh per annum.100% of the students got internships in KVK Pesticide Company or many others.
Infrastructure: For BSc Ag students, the lab is good, and the university's library is one of the best in the west, with all facilities such as wifi, air conditioning, and all books related to your course. The classrooms are good; there are smart classrooms. The hostel rooms are average.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful but some teachers are not. All teachers are qualified with PhDs. The teaching quality is good. Yes, this course is relevant. Exams are difficult in semester; passing marks are 50 marks in 100. Passing percentages are 55%.
Other: I belong to a wealthy family and in this course we study about agriculture that helps to know about crops and their management. Every year on October 2, there is a foundation day event, a university on the highway and near a metro station, the government provides scholarships and they also do extra curricular activities.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Agriculture University Meerut: Admission, Feels, Course.
Placements: College placements are good, with an average of 45% of students securing placements at around 2.5 LPA. It depends on your course, such as UG, PG, B.Sc., B.Tech., etc. B.Tech. students have the highest placement rates because many companies come for internships and placements. This year, companies like Amul Dairy, Banas Dairy, and Sugercen have visited.
Infrastructure: There are a total of 13 hostels on campus: 8 for boys and 5 for girls. The courses offered include UG programs like B.Sc. in Agriculture and Horticulture, as well as B.Tech. in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Sugercen Technology, Biotechnology, and Agriculture Technology. PG courses include M.Sc. in all Agriculture and Horticulture subjects, and M.Tech. in Food Processing and Farm Machinery.
Faculty: The course curriculum depends on your degree program, as prescribed by ICAR. Exams are conducted each semester, with an average of 8 courses, including external, internal, practical, and Viva exams. Faculty members are categorized into department heads, associate professors, assistant professors, and a few guest faculty members. Attendance is mandatory for final exams, with a minimum of 75%.
Other: I am a B.Tech. Dairy Technology student, and my batch has a strength of 25. My department is part of the College of Post Harvest & Food Processing.

My life at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of agriculture and technology Meerut.
Placements: The placement is not offered by the university. You have to work in private or government sectors. In the private sector, you have to work in private hospitals, slaughterhouses, NGOs, etc., where you can earn an average salary of 6 lacs per annum easily. Most of the students after there UG further continue their studies to get a higher education.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for BVSC and AH are that you get a smart classroom, a college library, and a central library that are fully A.C. with Wi-Fi available. The rooms are well developed with proper ventilation, and a bed is provided for each student. The mess quality is average, and the menu is simple, like no Chinese or South Indian dishes are prepared by the mess owner. If you want to rent a room or PG, then you have to search outside the campus. A friend of mine rented a room, which cost around 3500/month excluding electricity.
Faculty: The faculty are so experienced, and we'll be educated from different top institutes. Some teachers are AIR-1 in ICAR-JRF. The teachers have both theory and field knowledge about the disease, diagnosis, and treatment. The exams are held in December, then in March and then in June, and then the last annual exam is held in July and August. The teaching quality is good as compared to other colleges like NDUAT Ayodhya. I think I feel no improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods because the teachers are doing their duty very well. They are very helpful to students.
Other: The annual and technical festival is held on 2nd October every year, in which the dinner is not included. The library is the best infrastructure building of the campus, which is covered with tiles and the library is fully A. C. In the nighttime, the library looks so beautiful. There is more availability of books and varieties of books.

University has good infrastructure but lacks facilities like professors and labs for UG.
Placements: Around 6 to 10 students are recruited annually by companies such as Jain Irrigation, Syngenta, and other fertilizer companies, with an average package of approximately 4 LPA. However, many students do not focus on placements as they prefer to pursue postgraduate studies in other universities. I also plan to continue my higher studies at a reputed university.
Infrastructure: The library is one of the best in Uttar Pradesh, offering Wi-Fi facilities. Games are conducted annually in November and December, and an indoor badminton stadium and a free gym are available. The campus roads are in excellent condition. However, there is a lack of proper laboratory facilities for undergraduate students.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, providing guidance on academics and life. Career guidance sessions are conducted every six months. They strive to make students feel comfortable, ensuring a homely atmosphere. Faculty members are committed to completing the syllabus on time.
