Admission to the B.Tech is based on the score of JEE Mains and JEE advance score or any other entrance exam according to the college and the candidate should have a minimum of 70% in 10+2 grade. UPCATET is a state level exam conducted by Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology. The counseling for the UG courses in SVPUAT will be conducted by UPCATET from June 24 onwards especially in Agriculture, Economics & Mgmt.

Eligibility. For admission to the B. Tech. (Biotechnology), the candidate must have completed 10+2 level in PCB/ PCMB with English as a subject along with 50% aggregate.

ICAR AIEEA is required to get admission in Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology. However, candidates can also get admission without ICAR AIEEA score if they qualify UPCATET. The UP Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test  (UPCATET) is a combined-level entrance exam held to offer admission for different UG and PG programmes. It is an offline exam conducted once in a year. 

The eligibility criteria at SVBP University for B.Tech are as follows:

• The applicant must have completed their education with PCM. 
• The applicant must have a minimum of 70% aggregate in class 12th.

The application fee is required to be paid after filling the form. otherwise the form will not be accepted by the authorities. This year updated fees will be mentioned in UPCATET 2024 notification but according to previous year details, male candidates from General & OBC category have to pay INR 1350 while all other male & female candidates have to pay INR 1100 application fees. 

The application fees need to be paid online via Debit card, Credit card, Net banking etc. Once the fee is paid students are required to download the receipt of fees as some time due to any error if their candidature is rejected then they can raise their concern along with payment proof. 

SVBP University has not specified the minimum aggregate to apply for BTech course. However, candidates must complete Class 12 to fill out the application form. A 70% aggregate in Class 12 is a decent score and candidates can apply for BTech course with that score. Besides, they also need to qualify ICAR AIEEA or UPACTET exam for admission to BTech programme.

Applicants who want to prepare and qualify UPCATET exam in first attempt must have a concrete plan and then execution becomes important to qualify it. The UPCATET exam is held once in year hence candidates preparing for the exam must complete their syllabus in advance at least 3 months before the commencement of exam.

• Now devotee last 3 months to practise the previous year question papers. 
• Candidates need to ensure that they are completing the practise paper less than the given time in examination, which will eventually boost their confidence to attempt the paper within time in the examination hall.  

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology admissions begins in March with UPCATET registration. The applications for UPCATET closed by the end of May. Candidates need to appear for UPCATET to get admission in SVBP University. The exam is held in the month of June.
