SNUC - A first year's Review.
Placements: You can't really say too much about the placements at SNUC because no one's actually been placed yet. However, if it's anything like SSN's placements ( which is what they've promised ) then it would definitely have to be considered one of the better universities in Tamil Nadu.
Infrastructure: There's no doubt that the infrastructure is first class. You get good Wi-Fi in most places the labs are well-equipped, so are the classes. The academics blocks are neat and it shouldn't go unnoticed that restrooms (in AB 1 are super clean ). The sports facilities are more than adequate and even if you're a day scholar you still get the chance to use them. However, the canteen isn't the most hygienic you'll SEE.
Faculty: Considering the fact that I'm still in my first year, I can't say too much about the exams. So far, they've been challenging and there's quite a few questions that are indirect and involve conceptual knowledge. The courses are definitely relevant and will continue to be so for the coming years.
Other: The main reason why I chose SNUC was because of the fact there isn't much of a crowd which meant that there would be ample opportunities that I could take advantage of. The campus in itself is really green and overall just a really nice place to be in. It isn't one of those strict colleges so you do get a lot of freedom. Also, it's run by a trust namely, the Shiv Nadar Foundation and they definitely don't consider this a business and they truly do try their best to reduce the expenses for students. Of course the real major drawback is that it is still a relatively new University. Apart from this, there isn't much to complain about.

I am satisfied because of the good faculty members, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: As it is a new campus, official placements are not yet started. Compared to SSN College Chennai, placements are very good. Many top companies like Amazon, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, etc., are coming to the SSN campus, and the same recruiting companies come to SNU Chennai too.
Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and a library are very good. Hostel rooms are very good, but the quality of the food available in the mess and canteen is average. Still, remaining all facilities like medical facilities, sports and games are very good.
Faculty: Teachers are great in SNU Chennai, and they are very experienced, helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The curriculum is very relevant, and it is somewhat different compared to other colleges. The difficulty level in semester exams is moderate, and the pass percentage is the same as other colleges.
Other: Extracurricular activities are very good in this college, and many events are conducted in this college. The campus is lush green, and the fresh air from the trees is cool.

For now, SNUC is a subset of SSN. The campus is expanding. Available courses are invaluable.
Placements: We are technically the first batch (2025 batch), so we can not predict placements. I rate placements with 4 stars. But the placement team of SNUC would be the same team which handles the SSN, so whatever companies visit SSN would visit SNU. Apart from that, some more companies would visit SNU. It is atleast what the university claims.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good but restricted for social media except for WhatsApp. It is restricted for using games, video streaming apps, etc. Web browsing will work, and sites which seem productive will work. The food served is average and eatable. They serve 2 eggs a week apart from the available canteen. Sweet is served in place of egg if vegetarian is preferred. Chicken is served 3 times a week in low quantity. Some vegetarian variety dishes are replaced with vegetarian dishes. The food is not much good, but the hostel rooms are really awesome.
Faculty: Teachers here are highly knowledgeable as the university knows how they recruit. I have seen the syllabus of the course, so I guess it is really relevant. The pass percentage can't be decided yet, and semester 1 exams are postponed. However, the syllabus is good. Some subjects are easy, while some are lengthy like BEEE, etc.
Other: I am more of an introvert, so I don't generally hang out much, but based on my friends, events, fests and this kind of things are good enough like any other university. There is really much to improve in this course. It is fine now.

I recommend everyone to join in this college.
Placements: Almost 100% of the students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 1.5 crores, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 12 LPA. Amazon and Google are the top recruiting companies of our college. Internships depend on the students batch. Mostly 50% of the batch can get the best internships from top companies. In our college, there are 4 courses offered. They are CSE in IoT and CSE in Al in engineering and in commerce, we have B.Com general and B.Com PA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. When it comes to sports, we have maximum every kind of ground, indoor or outdoor. Everything on the campus is good.
Faculty: Faculty members of this particular campus are great. They are very experienced and they teach in a manner that every single student understands the thing they are teaching. As it is deemed university you don't have pressure about the semester exams.

Absolutely satisfied with this college.
Placements: SNU placements are carried out by a dedicated team of SSN. The college has 95% of placements record with an average package of 12 LPA, starting package of 5.8 LPA, and the highest package of 1.17 crores per annum as of this year 2021-22. Top companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc., come to this college.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my course are pretty good. Here the facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, etc. are all very good. The hostel rooms are also good. But mess food provided in hostel and canteen are average and could be improved for its quality. The remaining facilities meant for medical, sports, and games are also really good.
Faculty: The teachers here are really very well experienced, helpful, qualified and also knowledgeable. The teaching quality of the faculty members is also good. The course curriculum is very relevant and very different when compared with other colleges. It indeed makes students industry-ready.
Other: The college campus is lush green and spectacular.
