BCom at SNU Chennai consists of a BCom (General) course and a BCom (Professional Accounting) course. Students who maintain a CGPA of 8.0 and above in semesters 1-3 are eligible to apply for the Honours Certification. Both courses are three-year full-time courses.

To be eligible for BCom (General) and BCom (Professional Accounting), candidates must clear their Class 12 qualifying exam with a minimum aggregate of 75%, including subjects like Mathematics or Business Mathematics. Students of all streams can be admitted into BCom at SNU Chennai if they fulfill the eligibility criteria.

SNU Chennai offers various scholarships to help candidates fund their BCom at SNU Chennai. The university offers various scholarships which are merit-based as well as need-based. Scholarships other than academic are also provided by the university.

The scholarships at SNU Chennai are:

Merit Scholarship: Given to only one student from each year who has been the top scorer across all the UG courses or SNUCEE entrance exam.
