    The total tuition fee for SNU Chennai BSc is INR 7.5 lakh. If we add all the other fees a student has to pay to get into the university, the cost goes on to INR 7.91 lakh for the duration of the full course. This cost excludes hostel fees and transportation fees of the university. The hostel and transportation fees vary according to the kind of accommodation of the candidate.

    The admission fees include a refundable caution deposit of INR 20,000, a non-refundable application fee of INR 1,500, and an admission fee of INR 20,000. The semester fee of the programme comes out to be INR 2.5 lakh per semester which is to be paid over six semesters.

    Yes, SNU Chennai BSc admissions are highly competitive. Since there are only 60 seats on offer for the whole programme. The admission process happens in multiple rounds so that the faculty can analyse and scrutinize the best candidates for the course.

    To secure admission into BSc at SNU Chennai, candidates have to take the SNUCEE entrance exam, then further candidates are selected according to the exam for Personal Interview (PI) round.     Yes, SNU Chennai has merit-cum-means scholarships for first-generation/non-first-generation learners with an annual family income of INR 3 lakhs or below. As part of the scholarship, they get a fee waiver of 50% to 75% on their tuition fee. To be eligible for the scholarship a candidate has to pass both the SNUCEE entrance exam and the personal interview round.

    SNU Chennai BSc admissions start with the application process for SNUCEE. Candidates have to apply for the SNUCEE entrance exam to be eligible for admission into the university. The application process starts in March and the exam usually happens between April to June. The exam happens in four phases but candidates can only appear for the exam once.

    After candidates have cleared the SNUCEE exam candidates have to appear for the Personal Interview round conducted by the faculty of the institution. It is only after clearing the PI round, that a candidate is eligible for provisional admission.
