SNU Noida has not released the application deadline for UG courses yet. However, the early applications for MBA will closed by Oct 31, 2024. SMAT is an MCQ based test. It is conducted for 1.5 hours. The pattern is described below:

To appear for SMAT, a student needs to fill the registration form for SNU MBA admission. There are two ways to get admission –through SMAT and through other MBA entrance exams.

Upon registration, the candidate will be given the option to choose whether they wish to take the SMAT or not. If they select, SMAT, they will be given exam date and slot. If the candidate clears the exam, they will be shortlisted for GD/PI. For final selection, they need to clear the GD/PI round too.

Candidates with CAT/XAT/NMAT/GATE/ GRE/GMAT scores will have to appear for GD/PI round only for admission.

SMAT is an easy exam. There is no pressure to score a high percentile as well. The SMAT cut off is usually around 60-70 percentile. Questions from VARC, DILR and Quantitative Aptitude are easy in nature and not complicated. SMAT exam does not have negative marking or sectional time limit so there is no added pressure. One can easily solve 60 questions in 90 minutes.

For admission to SNU MBA programme, an entrance exam score is mandatory. If a candidate wishes to not appear for SMAT, the university’s own entrance test, then they will have to possess a valid score of CAT/XAT/NMAT/GATE/ GRE/GMAT exams. Only then their application will be accepted for admission.

The University has released the average package offered during MBA placements 2023, which stood at INR 10.04 LPA.  Earlier, the average package offered during Shiv Nadar University MBA placements 2022 was INR 8.40 LPA. Shiv Nadar University MBA cut off are derived form XAT scores followed by the admission process for the final selection of the candidates. The university offers MBA (Global).

As per the previous year Shiv Nadar University cut off 2023, in order to be eligible for Master of Business Administration (MBA) Global, a candidates must have a minimum XAT score of 60 Percentile for the General category belonging to All India Quota.
