Admission through IRMASAT is now being done based on the scores obtained by the students in the CAT/ XAT/ CMAT exams. Candidates can appear for the Personal Interview conducted at the IRMA centre to secure admission at IRMA.

IRMASAT 2025 application form will be available online. IRMASAT application form 2025 will likely be released in the month of November 2024. The forms can be filled out on the official website of the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA) for admission to its PGDRM programme after release. Candidates can apply for IRMASAT 2025 for admission to IRMA's PGDRM programme on the official website of the institute by creating a login ID. 

IRMASAT 2025 PGPRM and FPRM programmes have a common application form. Candidates need to pay the application fee of INR 2000 (INR 1000 for reserved category students) online via a digital payment gateway. Any candidate who is a Graduate (in any discipline as per the eligibility criteria) and has a valid score of CAT 2024/ XAT 2025/ CMAT 2025 can apply for IRMASAT 2025. Final-year candidates are also eligible to apply.

Q:   Is IRMASAT exam still conducted?

A:

The IRMASAT exam was scrapped by the Institute of Rural Management, Anand. The college started accepting scores of the popular national entrance exams such as CAT, XAT and CMAT for admission to the PGDM programme in Rural Management by the institute.

Q:   When does the IRMASAT application process starts?

A:

The application process for IRMASAT usually starts in the month of October or November each year. The IRMASAT application forms for the 2024-26 session were released on December 26, 2023. The last date of application was January 8, 2024. Candidates could have applied for the IRMA online by filing the IRMASAT application form. The application form was available on the official website of IRMA.

The documents required for filling out the IRMASAT application form include:

  • Identity proof issued by the Government of India 
  • Photograph of the candidate
  • Digital copy of the signatures of the candidate
  • Valid Email ID and mobile number
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • PwD certificate (if applicable)
  • Class 12 marksheet

Candidates must ensure that they have clear and precise scanned copies of the required documents. If the uploaded documents are blur, the IRMASAT application form may be rejected by the authorities.

Documents Required While Filling IRMASAT 2025 Application Form

The following list of documents will be required for filling the IRMASAT application form 2025:

  • Scanned or digital copy of your photograph and signature (Maximum size: 512 KB)
  • Scanned copy of your latest OBC (Non-creamy) / SC / ST / DAP category certificate as applicable (Maximum size: 1 MB)
  • Scanned copy of your mark sheets of Class 10, Class 12 and Graduation. Also upload your graduation certificate, sports certificate, extra-curricular certificate and work experience certificate (whichever is applicable) (Maximum size: 1 MB).
  • Valid CAT 2024, XAT 2025 or CMAT 2025 score
  • Sponsored applicants are required to upload sponsoring certificate as per the format available on the IRMA website

For Sponsored candidates

Sponsored applicants should attach a certificate from their employer as per the declaration of sponsorship form available on the IRMA website, stating that they will be sponsored, if selected, along with a copy of the IRMA-SAT 2025 application form. If the sponsorship certificate is not enclosed, or if the organization where the applicant is working is not a designated organization of IRMA, the application of the applicant will be treated at par with the applications of other non-sponsored applicants.

Candidates belonging to the BPL category will be exempted from paying the application fee. However, they will be required to upload the BPL certificate while filling the IRMASAT application form in the prescribed format. 

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria for IRMASAT?

A:

IRMASAT is conducted by the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) for admission to its Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) programme. The eligibility criteria for IRMASAT are as follows:

  • Domestic Candidates:
    • Graduates in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA.
    • Candidates in their final year of the examination are also eligible, but they must submit proof of qualifying the final year by September 2024.
    • Candidates must have scored 85 percentile or above in CAT 2023, XAT 2024, or CMAT 2024.
  • Foreign Candidates:
    • Graduates in any stream with at least 50% aggregate or equivalent from a recognised university.
    • Candidates must have appeared in GMAT/GRE (from 2016 onwards) and have a score that meets the minimum cut-off criteria set by IRMA.
  • Sponsored Candidates:
    • Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university/institution.
    • Candidates should have worked with the sponsoring organisation for a minimum of two years (as of July 1, 2024) as a regular employee on a full-time basis.
  • There is no age limit to appear for IRMASAT.

Yes, international students can apply for IRMASAT. They need to check specific eligibility criteria and guidelines for international applicants on the official IRMA website. The candidate must be a Graduate in any stream with at least 50% aggregate or equivalent from a recognised university. He/She should have appeared for GMAT/GRE and have a valid score that meets the minimum cut off criteria. Foreign candidates do not have to appear in IRMASAT, but they will be required to participate in Group Activity and Personal Interview round.

STEP 1: IRMASAT 2025 registration

To register for IRMASAT 2025, the candidate will have to create a login on the official website and fill the online application form. Follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Open the IRMA, Anand website in a new window
  • Click on the 'Apply Online' tab
  • Register yourself on the official website by entering basic details like name, email address, mobile phone number, password, city and state
  • On successful registration, an OTP will be sent to the email address mentioned
  • Verify your account by using the OTP

  • Login to your IRMA account
  • Click on the application form section
  • Fill in the details asked
  • Upload all the documents required, including passport size photo and digital signature
  • Check the details thoroughly before hitting the ‘submit/save’ button
  • Pay application fee by credit/debit card or net banking

STEP 3: Fee payment

IRMASAT 2025 application fee is to be paid online only. The candidates can pay the fee by debit/credit cards or net banking.

For students belonging to the General and OBC categories, IRMASAT 2025 application fee is INR 2000. For SC/ST /DAP candidates, the application fee is INR 1000. For overseas applicants, the application fee is INR 3000.

Documents to preserve after submitting IRMASAT 2025 application form

Each candidate must preserve a copy of the duly-filled IRMASAT 2025 application form and along with a copy of the fee payment acknowledgement/receipt, generated online.

Q:   What happens after I submit my IRMASAT application?

A:

After submitting your IRMASAT application, you'll receive a confirmation email and can check your IRMASAT application status on the IRMA candidate portal. Next, download your IRMASAT admit card from the official website. If shortlisted based on your CAT, XAT or CMAT exam score, you'll proceed to group activities and a personal interview, assessing your communication, leadership skills, and programme suitability. Following these evaluations, a final selection list is prepared, and selected candidates receive an admission offer letter with details on the admission process, fee payment, and other formalities. Complete the fee payment and enrollment process as instructed, then attend the orientation programme and commence classes as per the academic schedule.

  • For applying to IRMASAT 2025 register with your valid e-mail ID. An auto-generated password will be sent to your email account. Save the record of user-ID and password for future use.
