I am satisfied with all the facilities, but there should be some improvement.

Placements: About 30% of students are placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 60000 per month and the lowest is Rs. 20000 per month. Top recruiting companies include IFFCCO, Biostadt, Bayer, Synginta, and Root2Fruit. People are working as territory managers, marketing managers, agricultural graduate trainees, etc.

Satisfied with all the facilities, yet there is always room for improvement.

Placements: Our batch had 120 students, and 60 of them joined Master's, and the rest opted for different fields. About 30% of students got placed in pesticide and fertilizer companies like Bayer, Root 2 Fruit, Biostad, etc., as marketing managers, sales officers, territory managers etc. The average package offered was 30,000 per month, the lowest salary was 15,000, and the highest salary is 45,000 per month. 3 people got jobs in IFFCO and a few in FPO in NAFED as CEO. I am absolutely satisfied with everything.

Placements: There are very few opportunities like placement drives, campus jobs, etc. IFFCO and FIL industries are the main recruiters. Some students got internships at Cornell, some got at fil, and some at Bayer.

Faculty is good, course is new, and the saturation in the course is limited.

Placements: About 50% of our students are graduated from the university. The salary offered is Rs.30000 per month for the students who are assigned as contractual professors in the university. Private companies also recruit students. I don't know about the percentage of students who got internships at farms. Ornamental fish manager and assistant marine biologist are the top roles offered.

Our college got 9th rank in ICAT ranking among agricultural institutes across India.

Placements: Placements within the state of J&K are totally government based vacancies. However, a lot of placements can be seen outside India. Fertilizer companies also participate in the recruitment here. But to get good placements, it is required to pursue M.Sc and PhD. There is also ICAR NET exam option after B.Sc.

It has a serene and soothing environment to study.

Placements: SKUAST Kashmir is one of the leading universities of Jammu and Kashmir. There were 108 students in our class. All the students were well-mannered, supportive and motivating. Many students from our course got an internship, and I also got an internship. Many national and international companies often offer various programmes offering students job opportunities. Recently a company from Thailand visited our college and offered various jobs to students.

It is one of the best ICAR accredited agricultural universities in India.

Placements: Placement cells are improving day by day. The placement cell is not much active till now. Very few companies visit our campus. However, maximum students go for masters and PhD degrees. After that, they can apply for an assistant professor post, which is very prestigious. There is less scope for government jobs. Salaries are good, i.e., approximately 4 LPA, but opportunities are not much high.

Placements: Poor placement cell. Their is placement cell in college that is only for name. Student has to wait for only government. Job. Private sectors are very poor. Salaries are good but job opportunities are low. No company visits campus which college shows in brocher.

Absolutely satisfied with the college, and it is one of the best colleges.

Placements: To be honest, very few students get recruited after B.Sc. However, the maximum students go for Masters in their respective subjects, and then, PhD. After that, the students can apply for assistant professor post which is the aim of everyone. In short, the placements in our college are above average.

A poineer Institute to Study mountain Agriculture.

Placements: Placements are not in good state. Also, least companies pay a visit to our campus. Even The jobs offered by the government are negligible. Yes, there is placement cell and that too is not working properly. Actually, this has been divided into many faculty members which also creates a problem.

Absolutely satisfied and will have bright future there.

Placements: Bachelor in fisheries was introduced at SKUAST recently, 10 or 12 years ago. So, there is not much knowledge about placements. Internship is offered to all of its students with a stipend of Rs. 3,000 per month. However, placement is a little bit issue as there are very few companies, which know about this recently introduced fisheries college.

A good institute for studies and provides a good environment too.

Placements: The SKUAST-K is a well-decorated institute with a good administration. Placements are based on the government order through their office. Both contractual and permanent jobs are offered with an average pay between Rs.25,000-50,000. The deserving candidates are selected on their achievement in the vivas for that post.

My experience at SKUAST Srinagar.

Placements: After graduating from this college, you have a good opportunity to get selected in JKPSC. Also, various companies come here for placement sessions. The placement ratio is good and at least 30 students out of 45 get placed every year. Also, some students go for research in veterinary sciences.

The campus is very beautiful with marvelous surroundings and vast research plants.

Placements: I was admitted to this University through NTA ICAR exam. As it is one of the best agricultural universities in India, you have to score at least 400+ marks out of 600 in the ICAR-UG exam to get a seat allotment. I have taken admission in this course through general rank. After the ICAR exam, you have to fill and lock choices in ICAR's official counseling website icarexam. Net and if you get decent marks, you can surely apply to this university.

About 60% got an internship and ten percent got placed in companies. There are different roles offered in our course like M.Sc. sericulture.
