After that, they can apply for an assistant professor post, which is very prestigious. There is less scope for government jobs. Salaries are good, i.e., approximately 4 LPA, but opportunities are not much high.

However, placement is a little bit issue as there are very few companies, which know about this recently introduced fisheries college.
Placements: The SKUAST-K is a well-decorated institute with a good administration. Placements are based on the government order through their office. Both contractual and permanent jobs are offered with an average pay between Rs.25,000-50,000. The deserving candidates are selected on their achievement in the vivas for that post.

Net and if you get decent marks, you can surely apply to this university.
