The eligibility criteria for lateral entry into the BTech programme are a Diploma in the appropriate branch or a BSc in Mathematics with a minimum of 60% marks. The selection process is based on the candidate's marks in the qualifying examination and an entrance test conducted by SMIT. The final merit list is prepared by considering both the qualifying examination marks and the entrance test score.
