Placements: The Placement Cell of the college is led by some of the most experienced professors who help students train for the upcoming interviews as well as a standardized test during placements and the cell also updates about the recruiters visiting the campus. Some of the Placement during 2017 are Siemens, Wells Fargo, Dell, Ericsson, Capgemini, Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, L&T. To my knowledge, the highest package offered was 10 LPA and the lowest was 4 LPA.

Placements: Around 90 to 95% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered for CSE is 22 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3.75 LPA. Top recruiting companies of CSE branch are Microsoft, Dell and Wipro. This year from our batch, a total of 15 students got internships in companies like Dell and Microsoft.

Placements: There are good placement opportunities in companies like Microsoft, Amazon, etc., with packages of up to 20 LPA on average. Students get placed in companies offering 6 to 10 Lacs per annum. Scholarship facilities are available for top performing students.

Placements: Almost 75% of students get placed. In my course, 60% of the students got internships and some of them went for higher studies. The average salary was about 4 Lacs and 8 Lacs was the highest salary offered for my course. Students are placed in Microsoft, Amazon and IBM from our college.

Placements: SMIT provides students with good academic and has a notable ranking in the north-east. It is the 2nd best college in the East zone with great placement opportunities in very known companies. It has a record of 95%+ placement and up to 22L+ PA being the highest package.

Placements: JLL, Titan, Simplex, Amazon and other good and renowned companies come for the placement drives. Companies like Simplex take you as a trainee engineer if they find that you potential and train you in the respected civil engineering field and make you industry-ready.

Placements: From my department, almost everyone got placed intact a few people had more than one job to choose from. The highest package offered was 12LPA and the lowest was 2.5LPA. Top recruiting companies were Microsoft, Dell, Shell, Wipro. Each company came with various roles from SDE to support, basically wherever you are comfortable working.

Placements: The placement records of SMIT has been great and improving every year. Almost all eligible students end up getting placed in top MNCs. Few companies visiting campus are Amazon, Microsoft, Dell, ThoughtWorks, Wells Fargo, Sony, Ixia etc. There are placement trainings conducted to help pre final year students with their interview preparation.

Placements: In our college, the placements were very good. Many top companies visited here for placements, and distance education students also get placement opportunities sometimes with good salary packages. Top roles offered in our course were computer analyst and software developer.

Placements: Sikkim Manipal Institute of technology is an outstanding university in terms of faculty, resources and it's location on the picturesque hills of the north-east. Placements: It is the second-best college in North East. The highest salary package offered here is 22 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Recently, JLL is a top recruiter for core branches. Microsoft, Amazon and Shell are major recruiters for other branches.

Placements: 90% of the students got placed. Companies like Wells Fargo, Ixia, Think and Learn, Bosch came for placements. Placement drive begins from 3rd year itself. Various roles offered included project engineer, software engineer, business associate, etc. Many internships are also awarded.

Placements: Microsoft, Amazon, IBM and Dell are few of the top-notch companies, and companies like TCS and Wipro does mass recruitment. A student is also offered an internship from the company, and he is also placed. So he may undertake an internship otherwise. Highest and lowest salary package offered varies vastly, and students should have good quantitative, verbal and general knowledge skills to get placed amongst the top-notch companies.

Placements: In SMIT, CSE has the best placement followed by ECE. Most of the placements on the campus are in the IT sector. Some companies come to take candidates in the core domain. TCS and WIPRO do mass recruitment mostly while Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, and many more selects the best candidates.

Placements: If students score a minimum of 70% in academics, then they can attend the placement process in almost all the companies. Apart from that, another mandate is you have to undergo a pre-placement training classes which are provided by the college, and you have to have a minimum of 95% attendance. Several companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Microsoft, etc., visit our college for placements.

Placements: In the previous batch of our college, almost the placement percentage varies between 94% to 98%. The top recruiting companies mainly include Bosch, Dell, LT Elevators, Ericsson, etc. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Students usually get the roles of a system engineer, an analyst, etc. Internships are provided to students from recruiting companies, and as well as from other companies if students are willing to do in.

Placements: The placement rate was nearly 98% last year. The highest package was offered 10 LPA. However, the median package was nearly around 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies include Dell, Ericsson, TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. Mostly, the role assigned by them is of system engineer. Around 60% of the students are offered internships from the recruiting companies.

The average salary package offered was 4.6 LPA. Companies like Ericsson, Sunrator and ASEB visited our college and hired many students for an internship. Think & Learn also visited our college and recruited many students from our college.

Placements: This year, almost 98% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 11 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Students who were interested in pursuing internship got an internship in various reputed firms among the private and public sectors by the college. Companies like Bosch, Dell, LTE, TCS, etc., visit our college for placements.

Placements: Amongst those from the outgoing batch of EEE Department of SMIT, 98% were placed and among them 75% of the students got more than one offer. Bosch, Dell, LTE are few companies to name amongst the large pool that came for recruitment. Maximum package offered was around 11LPA.
