The college is neither the best nor the worst. You can join if you have the money.

Placements: The placement percentage in ITER is 100%. More than 50 companies visit the campus for the placements. For the mass recruitment, there are companies like Infosys and TCS. The average salary offered is 3.5 LPA. The big companies like Amazon also visit, but they select only 2-3 persons and offer 15 LPA.

Good and knowledgeable place for studying. It is very safe for girls

Placements: Here, placements are average. In this year, many companies came like Deloitte, Amazon, Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys and TVS but I can't recall all of them. For some reason. TCS will not come to the campus till 2019 or 2020. I don't know the reason. If I got to know it. I will surely update this post. I talked to my seniors. They told that this time. i.e. 2018, Infosys took really less students (less than 250). But it took 600-800 students on an average. Amazon took 2 students with 14 LPA. Nearly 40...

Good infrastructure, mediocre curriculum. Come to enjoy the graduation life.

Placements: The placements are quite good. Nearly 80-85 students got placed. The companies like TCS, Infosys, L&T, Syntel, Mindtree etc. have come to the college for campus placements. The authorities try hard for maximum placements. The package is around 5-7 lacs per annum, which is quite good for a fresher.

Institute of Technical Education and Research through the years.

Placements: The placements were in line with most of the good colleges. This was a continuation of the previous placements. Through the years, the placements have been up there with the best colleges. The fiascos here and there should not be taken into consideration. All the quality students are placed in the good companies.

An awesome college. Great learning experience.

Placements: The college has one of the best placement drives in the state of Odisha. The placement department gives ample opportunities for deserving students. The great placements overall. There is the best placement officer to give the best opportunity. The highest package gets increasing every year as the competition increases. You need to be well aware of the subjects to get placed. The companies conducting drives vary from startups to various MNCs. Infosys, TCS, Deloitte, TEKsystems, Byjus, etc., come ...

Satisfactory, manageable and good.

Placements: In our senior batch or the ongoing batch (December 2017), there is fewer number of placements. But in 2015, there was about 85% placement. TCS took about 860 students that year. After 2015, the placements are reduced. The companies like TCS, Infosys, Zycus, Intel, Tech Mahindra, Mahindra and Mahindra, etc., have visited our college. Even some big companies such as Amazon, Think and Learn have come.

The details of the Institute of Technical Education and Research.

Placements: The average package received by the students is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annum. CSE, CSIT and ECE students are getting good placement every year. Last year, 1 CSE student got selected by Adobe with 20 LPA package. This year, Amazon selected 5 students with 2 of them getting 20 LPA, and Adobe selected 2 students with 24 LPA. The internship opportunities are given to all the students. In core branches, placement is an issue in our college. SOA is the 20th best university in India.

Good placements in 2016. Totally dissatisfied because of communication gap. Infra is average.

Placements: Most of the time, it is around 80 to 85% placement for eligible students (i.e. with 60%). If you had less than 60% in 10th and 12th, there is a very less chance that you will get placed. The placement starts with few good companies like Deloitte, Mu Sigma, etc. and then one mass recruiter (either TCS or Infosys) would take the major chunk of the batch- around 40% of the total eligible students. Few recruiters give more than 4 lakh per annum but only 3 to 4 companies. Rest of the companies' packa...

There are mixed feelings after passing out of the college, only I can say is it is a good college.

Placements: The placements were good for our senior batch, but not good enough or up to the mark for our batch. A lot is promised while joining but in reality, it is not what was promised to us, but a very less percentage of my friends are placed in good companies, rest are either unplaced or placed off-campus.

Placements: The placement for our senior batch(2012) was pretty good than ours, i.e. 2013 batch. In our batch, 60% students were placed. The highest salary offered was 7 lakh per annum, the lowest was 1.2 per annum, and the average is 3 lakh per annum. The companies which visited our campus are TCS, Wipro, HCL, Mahindra and Mahindra, FCS, Cognizant, etc. The roles offered to students were a software engineer, mechanical engineer, technician, etc. 10% of the students got an internship. Awesome lecturers, nice infrastructure, good place to study. Good placements.

Placements: In our batch, approximately 85% students got placed. Totally, 1500 students had placed out of 1800 students. The highest package offered to the students was 8.5 LPA by Ashok Leyland. The average package was offered by Infosys which was around 3.75 LPA, and the lowest package was offered by Hind Rectifier which was about 1.8 LPA. The college provides training in aptitude, reasoning, group discussion for all the student before the campus drive. But the placements of our seniors were not good.

Placements: The percentage of the placements are very high in this college. 90 out of every 100 students are placed every year. The highest salary was 8.5 lakh Per annum by Deloitte. TCS, Wipro, Infosys etc., companies come every year. Plenty of companies also come for core branches. The highest package offered was 8.5 lakhs per annum, the average package was 3.25 lakhs per annum, and the lowest package was 2.7 lakhs per annum.

The college has a very good environment and a great learning exposure.

Placements: The placement of our batch was quite good, though the market was not doing well. Almost 50% of the students got placed. The well-known MNCs like the TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc., had visited the campus and took a good number of students. The placement for the previous batch was quite good too, but looking at the availability of the openings, the placement for our batch was good too.

It is the best university in the state of Orissa in my opinion.

Placements: The placement is quite good in our university comparing to any other government or Pvt. engineering college. More than 80 companies came to our college for hiring the students from our college, and the placements are still going on. Till now, about 400 students among the 700 qualified students have got their placements in many reputed companies like Dell, Infosys, Zycus, Capgemini, Texas instruments, etc.

Average faculty with average infrastructure but good data source availability and placements.

Placements: ITER is providing a good number of placements compared to other colleges. All the candidate's who come under eligibility criteria are given equal chance to attend the campus drive, so now after attending the drive, it completely depends on the interpersonal skills and communication skills of the candidate in roping a job.

Good placements and ambiance.

Placements: The placements were always good. The department and the people in charge are responsible and know their work. Every year, the percentage is 90 and above for the placements and the internships provided by the college. The jobs were offered in every field, and the offered salary ranged in a good way from Rs. 3 lakhs to Rs. 25 lakhs at times and the students were placed in reputed companies.

The story of the doomed Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University.

Placements: For the last two years, there was only 1 company which was a mass recruiter. This year they even banned the college, and you can find the recent scams about placements. So don't you expect from the rankings, buildings and the whole mirage what these people are projecting upon you. The thing is, there were few good companies in our days like Deloitte, Cadeploy, and some other like Amazon, but they take only 1-2% of the whole student community. In numbers, think like 20 to 40 students are going to...

Placements: The placement for my batch is great. The highest salary paid is Rs. 21 lacs per annum and the average package offered is Rs. 6 lacs per annum to Rs. 7 lacs per annum. 70 to 80 companies have visited the college this year, and almost everyone gets a job. If you are getting 8 CGPA, then you will get a good job. And, if you are good in your field then you can easily get a job.

Placements: Placement isn't 100%, but the students are provided with numerous opportunities. Almost 50-60 companies visit the campus for campus recruitment. 90% of the deserving candidates get placed. Every year isn't the same, but then, nobody is perfect. The college manages to provide a good percentage of placement to the students.
