Poor management, waste of money, bad placement coordinators.

Placements: Fake placements were on offer this year with more than 400 students affected. 50 percent placements and most of them were IT firms with the average salary of 3 LPA. Core companies were few this time with Tata, Tech Mahindra, Adani, and Meritor among the quality recruiters with the average package of 4 .25 LPA, recruiting less than 15 students in total.

Many IT companies visited and some core branch companies visited too. There were written tests, group discussion, personal interviews. The percentage of students who got an internship was more than 30%.

Satisfied because of the faculty, infrastructure and other facilities

Placements: Placements were good. Almost 90% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered was 5.5 lakhs while the average was around 3.2 lakhs. Students were provided with system engineer roles. There could be an improvement by bringing more companies which would offer higher packages.

Good place to enjoy college life.

Placements: For our batch, the placements were recorded as placement with the highest packages. Different companies visited our college. The college helps a lot to get its students ready for placements by conducting extra classes by the faculty members or employees of different companies or some placement agencies.

If anyone comes and takes advise, I will clearly say don't take admission in this college.

Placements: The college placement is going in a very wonderful manner. Every year, at least 900 to 1200 students get placed from our college. The highest package is about Rs. 7.5 lakhs. But this year (2017), due to some problems like corruption in teachers, they did fake placements and no one cared about this matter because the management of this college has a lot of money.

Placements: The placements were pretty good in our year as well as for our senior batches. Almost 90 percent of the students were placed and the average salary that was offered was around 3 lakhs per annum. Companies like TCS, Wipro, TEKsystems, Accenture, etc. visited and recruited students from all branches.

It's ranked 1 in the state of Odisha and that says all.

Placements: It was fine with an average placement of 85-90%. Hoping the trend continues in the upcoming days. Big companies like Deloitte, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Mahindra and Mahindra, TVS, Adani, MindTree, HSBC, etc. recruit the students. The track record of ITER in the last 20 years has an upward graph and the college has created its own image of a well-renowned college in the entire country.

Focused on academics but also considering all other parameters.

Placements: All I can say is that it depends purely on you, the way you showcase the way you get it. The average package- 4 lacs. Finding a core company for branches other than CSE is rare which is the case in every engineering college I feel.

Dissatisfied because of no pre-planned syllabus.

Placements: The placements of our seniors were quite good. 70% students were placed and their highest and the average salary were 6 lakhs p.a, and 3 lakhs p.a respectively. The college didn't provide any internship but they prepared the students for the interview round. PPT classes are held so that the students can learn to solve aptitude and reasoning related questions.

Odisha's number 1 engineering college.

Placements: There is a good placement record of the university(SOA University). The maximum number of students got placed every year through the campus. 95% placements are done in the university itself. Companies like HCL, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc visit here. There is even a training programme from the college to students in summers for cracking interviews in campus placements.

Placements: Currently, our college is facing difficulties in getting the students placed but it might improve in the near future. THe average package offered is 3 lakhs per annum. The college should put in efforts to bring in new and popular companies.

Placements: Placements were pretty good for the 2016 pass out batch. TCS alone recruited 900 students from various branches and there were also big names like Tata, Amazon, Deloitte, etc. Various companies established in Pune came for the campus drive like Cybage, iNautix, etc. You need to be above average for getting placed.

Placements: For the 2014 pass-out batch, more than 60% placements. For the 2015 pass-out batch, more than 80% placements. For the 2016 pass-out batch, more than 80% placements and for the 2017 pass-out batch, less or equivalent to 50% placements. In 2017, 435 students got fake placements by a fraudster racket of 25 officials including the placement dean. TOI reported this as a proof in the national news.

Placements: For my senior batch, TCS came as the mass recruiter and more than 700 students were placed. Placements: The placement was up to the mark, but still, there is room for improvement. Maximum people got placed in IT sector irrespective of their branch.
