Master of Planning in Transport Planning - Batch of 2024
5
5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
It's one of the best colleges in India.
Placements: About 80% of students get placements in our college. The highest and lowest salaries are 12 LPA and 8 LPA, respectively. The average salary is around 8 LPA. Top hiring companies are AECOM, WSP, Atkins, L&T, and Urban Mass Transit Company (UMTC). About 75% of students get internship opportunities at this college. Policy Analyst, Urban Mobility Consultant, and Transport Planner are the most in-demand positions.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure available for our architecture course was well-maintained and developed in SPA. The college campus had all the necessary facilities for the students. Wi-Fi, labs, a library, a canteen, classrooms, halls, a sports complex, a hostel, medical services, and more were all available to students at the college. All these facilities were of good quality.
Faculty: The faculty of SPA University was very qualified and knowledgeable. The professors of this college were helpful and supportive to the students. Their teaching method was good, and they helped the students to understand all the concepts. The course curriculum followed in the college was relevant and made the students industry-ready. The semester exams of our college were moderately difficult. The pass rate is 70%.

Master of Planning in Urban Planning - Batch of 2020

5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Overall, the best college for Master of Planning in Urban Planning Course.
Placements: About 78% of the students get placements in our college. Our college provides excellent educational opportunities to the students. The maximum and minimum salaries in our study are 16 LPA and 3 LPA, respectively. The average salary in our study is around 9 LPA. Top recruiting agencies are ATKINS, Sasaki Associates, Hassell, etc. Students get internship opportunities also in this college.
Infrastructure: SPA was founded in 1941 and is still operating on the same campus. The planning department building was constructed the same year as the construction building a few years later. Labs, libraries, sports facilities, etc., are available in the college. WiFi facilities are provided in hostels. The new campus is being built at Vasant Kunj and should be operational in the next 5-10 years.
Faculty: This college has very good and knowledgeable faculty members. Most faculty members have extensive experience in their specialties. Many other celebrities who lead big companies continue to show up as visiting lecturers. Students have access to many competitions, conferences, etc. Semester exams are easy and the pass rate is 75%.

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) - Batch of 2023

College is good academically; it provides much knowledge for the industrial revolution.
Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed, with the highest salary found to be 14-15 LPA as per the data provided. Average packages here are 6-7 LPA, which is decent. Top recruiting companies include Boyce & Godrej, JLL India, Deloitte, and the World Bank. The internship percentage is also good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure isn't that good in SPA, which wasn't expected from a top college, but the education provided here is top-class. In their studios, there are some factors that aren't ideal, and since the college campus isn't that large, I'm not fully satisfied with the infrastructure; it's just average.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, humble, and kind. They are qualified and experienced and explain concepts really well. Education-wise, this is the best, and academics are good enough for industrial knowledge. Semester exams depend on how well students prepare; they're average to tough, we can say.
Other: Events are enjoyable, and seniors are helpful and kind. There's no peer pressure; if we want to pursue something, we can, and if we don't, they won't force us, which is the best thing I find there. My batchmates were also good. I chose this course because it includes technical and artistic elements along with innovations. Academically, it's the best. I would like to say that the campus would be more enjoyable if it were larger.

Master of Planning in Housing - Batch of 2019
5
5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Overall best University for Master of Planning in Housing Course.
Placements: For architectural and design courses, SPA University is among the top universities. At our university, between 50 and 70 percent of students are placed on campus each year. The average salary of placements ranges between 7 and 15 LPA. Vivid Recruitment, Park Avenue Recruitment, Greenacre, and others are top recruiters. Additionally, this university offers internships to students with good pay.
Infrastructure: The amenities offered by the university are passably good; however, the sports and medical facilities in the dorms are inadequate for a nationally significant institution. The academic buildings are roughly 12 to 15 kilometers away from the dormitory facilities. Course facilities, including studios, workshops, and classrooms, are modern. The earliest records in the library's collection date from 1950.
Faculty: Experts from their respective professions formed a team with our academics. They are very competent and well-informed—the finest of the best, if you will. However, a significant communication gap exists between the teachers and students. Students felt more accountable as a result of the curriculum, which presented a bigger picture than the actual state of the field. With a 76% pass rate, semester examinations are simple.

Master of Planning in Transport Planning - Batch of 2024

5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Best college for architecture.
Placements: The college doesn't provide placement in this course, but other courses do hold placement facilities. No internship opportunities are given through the college; we have to get our internship experience, but all that is to be done by ourselves with no help from the college. We apply for jobs at any company or ferm, and then we get our experience.
Infrastructure: The hostel rooms are bigger with two persons sharing a room; all the essentials are provided in the room, like an almirah, a bed, and a study table. Hostels are compulsory and have enough seats for the students, so nobody lives in PG here. Wi-Fi facilities are available for students as well as faculty members. The college also provides good infrastructure for classrooms. Libraries are also available with well-stocked books.
Faculty: The course designed is excellent and is updated as per the market requirements. We learn from very good books, and the latest trends were being taught to us. It is both practical with a good amount of research included in it, and as far as I know, in most of the colleges we learn the process of doing it and actual things we learn in the field. The lecturers are all good, having an adequate amount of experience and degrees from the field. For around 28 students in a class, we have around 8 faculty members for 6 subjects, which is fair enough. The faculty members are mostly post doctorates, so they have enough knowledge to share with us.
Other: Campus life is obviously fun with friends and seniors and faculty members and dogs and cats and canteens and the mess food, the diarrhea that comes after, the washroom queue, and what not; it's fun and hectic at the same time.

College tedha hai, par mera hai
Placements: Minimum placements as there is no active placement cell. The highest packages is 7lpa and minimum would be 3lpa which is very low. Companies like kpmg, deloitte are there. Around 20% got internships. They mostly hire as project associate. In two semesters people needs to go to internship on their own.
Infrastructure: there are air conditioned classrooms, library and studios. In few studios there are issues of bad ligthing or something else but they get it renovated in a few time. There is a mess available for hostellers and also canteen for all. Doctor and medical facilites is also 24*7. Sports ground and all.
Faculty: There are old and experienced faculty. Always approchable to students and there is a friendly connection between students and faculties. The course is definetly relevant, makes student know about the city differently. There are exams in the end of every semester which are easily copeable. the only thing that's difficult are the juries.
Other: I wanted to do anything but not btech so i found this course veryy interesting and wanted to know more about it. It gives scope in every feild. I wish there were more books provided in course coz rn we only rely on online sources. There are alot alot alot of events and crazy parties.
