The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council. Candidate must have passed B.Sc Nursing /B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing. Candidate should have undergone training in B.Sc Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc.Nursing.

Candidate shall be medically fit. In service candidates have to enclose 'No Objection Certificate' from their employer. Minimum given work experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing, or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (regular stream) to be fulfilled prior to the date of commencement of M.Sc(N) program.
