Absolutely dissatisfied with the college and faculty.

Placements: 60% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 7 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. Microsoft is the top recruiter. 40% of students got internships in TCS and Infosys. The college informs you about placements.

I am not much satisfied as they don't care about students.

Placements: More than 400 students got placed last year. They provide a good placement programme for students who want to succeed. Many companies participate in the placement programme. The college also provides placement training. Overall, the placements are fine.

The college doesn't provide satisfactory placements, infrastructure and teachers.

Placements: Placements of our college are not very good. The college assured to place 100% of the students, but only 80% of the students got placed. The average salary package offered is as low as 4 LPA. However, the highest salary package offered by Adobe was 39 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Google, Cisco, TCS, etc., also visit the campus for the placements.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: The placement cell of our college ensures almost 80% to 85% placements. Last year, Adobe offered the highest salary package which was 39 LPA, though the average salary remains around 4 LPA. Dream companies like Amazon and Google also visit our campus for placements.

My experience in the college was not good.

Placements: Placements in our college are one of the best things because students are assured with 100% placements if they are good and smart. Mass recruiters of our college are TCS, Microsoft, Google, Cisco, Amazon and other MNCs. The main recruiters target for high rankers, creative and crafting thinkers with other good skills apart from the subject knowledge.

I'm absolutely dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: Placements in our college are one of the best because students are assured with 100% placements irrelevant of the type of salary package offered. Our college takes pride in mass recruiters like TCS, Microsoft, Google, CISCO, Amazon and other MNCs. The main recruiters target students who are high rankers and out-of-the-box thinkers with extraordinary skills apart from the subject knowledge. The highest salary package offered was 38.20 LPA.

Absolutely dissatisfied by faculty, infrastructure and poor facilities.

Placements: I don't know about the placements but I think it is alright. Companies like TCS, CISCO, Infosys come for placement. Sometimes Amazon also comes for placement. But overall the placement is average and you can't rely on it. Even if it is said that SRM has 100% placement, it is not fully true. Everything depends on the students efforts.

Totally waste of money, its just a brand srm.

Placements: There will be lot more possibilities to get placed, but the main reason many don't get placed is lack of their coding and communication skills. If students applied for around 1000 then only 400 members will be placed. Most often students form north with more chances of getting placed.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, infrastructure. In 2017, only 40% students got placed.

Placements: They show 90% of placements, but we didn't even get 50% of placements. I made a mistake by choosing this college rather than KTR campus. Ramapuram campus is one of the worst campuses, I have ever seen in my life. The staff behave like the police. If you want to join SRM University, don't choose Ramapuram campus. It is better to choose KTR campus, as it is the best campus in Chennai.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty and poor placement as well as expensive.

Placements: The placements of the college are not very bad as I have 55%. So I was not eligible to attend any placement activity. I mean that if you don't study thoroughly in 10th and 12th, please don't take admission. If you bother about placements, try to get admissions in any state government college that will be useful instead of paying lakhs and lakhs to the college managements.

Absolutely dissatisfied because nothing is up to the marks.

Placements: Mostly all IT companies come for placements, average salary is around-2-2.5 Lacs per annum. Most of them are data entries job and core companies for other department are very few or negligible. Can't tell exact but around 30-40% students were placed last year. The highest package till now this year is around-7-8 Lacs per annumand minimum is 8000-10000 per month. It does not have very good placement record as advertised.

Waste of money and no college life.

Placements: Don't think of getting a good placement from our college. This time only a few of my seniors got placement in core company rest just got in IT. The companies coming to our college for placement is very less in number. The college says 100% placement but that's not true. Better opt for main campus atlest you will have a good college life.

It is best, if you want only want a degree, but not if you want to learn.

Placements: The placements are good if you are a topper of your class, but for the average students, there is very less scope. Many companies come to college, but they select only a few students. Placements happen in our Kattankular main campus. It is very hectic to travel to KTR every day for placements. For an average student, you can expect 1.5 LPA and not more than that.

Save yourself the money and agony by avoiding this college.

Placements: Placements were okay. I personally opted out of a college placement. Not many good companies turn up. We were mediocre prepared as well. Anything you do is linked to your placements. You come late to class, they blackmail you about your placements. Come late to the hostel, can't sit for the placements.

It is an average college, but it will not pay off for your fee structure.

Placements: There are a maximum number of placements from the companies with a maximum package of 1.5 LPA, and the college is quite good for studying, and there will be no extra circular activities. Major companies visited our college, but there is no use of visiting.

Choosing this campus is waste of money. Worst faculty in teaching, and there are no 100% placements.

Placements: They won't arrange any placements for the core branches like civil, mechanical, EEE. Only IT & CSC will get placements. Even if you get good percentage in civil &mechanical, you won't get proper placements. It is very useless college for the placements. Don't trust this campus.

This is a university-cum-college for the degree and just for the name sake.

Placements: Although we were expecting the core branch placements, we had to console ourselves with the IT placements. Almost every aspirant of the job got into either TCS, CTS, Wipro, Accenture, Infosys or into new Think and Learn. None of the students from our department was into the companies offering a package above Rs. 6 LPA. The placement record was similar for our seniors and the batch that joined after us.

Disappointed with the infrastructure.

Placements: The placement of the college is average. If the student clears all papers without any arrears, they have high chances of getting placed. The college doesn't provide an internship. For all campuses, the placement is done together only. One has to possess good communication as well as technical skills to be get placed in good companies.

Not an ideal place for learning.

Placements: The placements where only 60% last year and this year it is less than 50%. Here, 4500 students attended placement, and only two mass recruiters have come this year. On an average, the internship stipend is 25,000 rupees. But overall, the placement has been disappointing because of a large number of students. Internships and placements have hit rock bottom this year, and this has been the most disappointing year for SRM, so far.

Don't waste money by taking this college even small colleges are much better in all aspects.

Placements: The placements are not good for our last batch as they say to be. The placement but in reality is less than 50%. It is a very bad choice. Their main motive is to earn money, not education. Their placement is less than any college. It is very bad to take this college for placements.
