Above average according to me.
Placements: There are 61 students in our class. Banking and business are the jobs related to my course. I don't know much about internships, and the top roles offered in my course will be in business. I would recommend others to join as it provides opportunities for various jobs and prepares the students for the future.
Infrastructure: Regarding the infrastructure, it's quite good. They provide everything that a student needs. We can solve our doubts and find answers in the library by going through the books provided there. They also offer a digital library, which is quite amazing. The lab facilities are also impressive. In regard to the hostel, the facilities are good except for the food.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are amazing and approachable. The teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares the students for the future. The exams are okay; it depends on the students to pass or fail. The pass percentage is 40 percent.
Other: I chose this course because my career is related to it. I think the teaching quality can be improved.

Life in St. Joseph University.
Placements: Minimum 70% of students were placed in our course. The highest package offered in our course is Rs. 80K to 1 Lakh, the lowest package offered is Rs. 30K to Rs. 50K, and the average package is Rs. 50K to Rs. 80K. Till now, we don't have top recruiting companies for our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at St. Joseph University is satisfactory and well-maintained. All kinds of necessary facilities are available for the students. The quality of facilities in our hostel is acceptable. The quality of food in the mess and canteen is good and hygienic. All kinds of medical, sports, and games facilities are available at our university.
Faculty: Teachers in our university are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are very helpful to students, and students are free to approach them if necessary. The semester exams at our university are not difficult, and the pass percentage is 40.
Other: I chose this course because it has numerous scopes. This course is very easy to understand. The best thing about our course is that after graduation, students have a very high chance of getting a job placement.

My honest review about the college.
Placements: As of now, I'm currently in my 5th semester, final year of B.Sc., and we haven't received any information on placements. We have no idea what types of placements are offered, and there hasn't been a time where we had the chance to sit for placements. Maybe we might get offers this semester or in the next, but as of now, there is none.
Infrastructure: As for the facilities and infrastructure in my department, everything is quite acceptable and fine. The only problem is the electricity, which is unstable in the state. The labs are okay, the library is quite good, and Wi-Fi is available for free in the library. I have no idea about the facilities in the hostel, as I am a regular student and haven't been there at all.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are quite qualified and knowledgeable. However, many teachers lack teaching quality. They should focus on making students learn something and not just providing notes. The college should recruit teachers with more teaching skills and not just any degree. As for the course I'm taking, I feel it's useless since we are not taught about concepts. I believe that it is not preparing any student for the industry. The exams in our college are written three times in a semester: the Continuous Assessment Test is written twice, and the End Semester Exam. I feel the exams are slightly more difficult than average.
Other: I took this course with enthusiasm to learn many big things and to further grow my knowledge of Maths. However, now I feel like it was a wrong decision for me, as I'm not able to catch up with the course. I enjoy spending time with my mates, but the only boring aspect is the faculty members and their way of teaching. I believe that teachers play a big role in a student's life and their interest in the subject. I suggest that having strong, confident, understanding, and experienced teachers can greatly improve the grades of every student. There are a lot of events and fests in the college organized by different departments, and the faculty encourages us to partake in them.

My St Joseph University experience .
Placements: There were 22 total students from my batch 2021-2024 and my percentage was 83 percent in hsslc. There were no placements opportunities. The placement opportunities were not described much but we could get into local industries with internships. I was able to gain a lot of knowledge about the market industry and making communications with overall industry .
Infrastructure: There was bus, library, hostel, PG, Science labs, studio labs and computer labs with free Wi-Fi. The classrooms are quite clean and spacious and lots of books are there in the library with sufficient desk and chair. AC facilities are available in the labs and fans are there in the classrooms. Clean drinking water is provided.
Faculty: The teachers are quite knowledgeable and the teaching quality is up to the mark. The study material of the course is very helpful. The course is very relevant to the curriculum and it makes the students prepared for the current industry. The semester exams are not very tough as there are two cumulative assessment test before the end semester exams .
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in the field of media and communication to learn about the communication aspects in all fields and prepare the skills needed to help myself adjust in any kind of agency in the work field.

I am pretty much satisfied with St. Joseph University, Dimapur .
Placements: The percentage of students placed in the BCA course was around 10%. TCS is the top recruiting company so far. The highest package so far is INR 10 lacs per annum, and the lowest package is around INR 5 lacs per annum. We don't get internships through our college, but we apply for paid internships for our course.
Infrastructure: We have four good labs with two air conditioning units each, and we have Ethernet for the lab. We have a 24x7 water and power supply. We have an ample number of washrooms that are clean and hygienic. The college canteen has good food quality. Our college conducts sports every year, and inter-college sports are also hosted by us.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified. The teaching quality is impressive. The semester is quite difficult, with a good pass percentage. The syllabus is relevant to the course. The teacher provides the best assistance to every student in every way possible, leaving no room for complaint.
Other: I chose this course out of my personal interest in order to learn and create games. I am a hard-core gamer.

Not satisfied with teachers of St. Joseph University.
Placements: Only 10% of the students got placed. The highest package offered was INR 2.4 LPA, while the lowest was INR 1.4 LPA, and the average package was around INR 1.8 LPA. About 50% of the students secured internships, and the internship experience is considered quite good.
Infrastructure: The facilities in the college are adequate and well-maintained for my department. The labs are in good condition, classrooms are well-equipped, and the library has a vast collection of books. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. The quality of food in the canteen is decent, and the sports facilities are average.
Faculty: The teachers are somewhat helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but the overall teaching quality is moderate. The course content is relevant and helps in making students industry-ready. Semester exams are conducted well, and the pass percentage for our college is around 40-50%.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in this field. The best aspect of the course is the practical experience it offers. However, I feel there is room for improvement in the teaching methodology and faculty engagement. Events and fests are organized well, but the campus can feel crowded at times.
