Q:   How many students can do B.Tech at Swami Vivekanad Subharti University?

A:

The limited intake of 50 students for B.Tech programs at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University signifies a deliberate focus on maintaining smaller class sizes, fostering a more personalized learning environment, and ensuring individualized attention for each student.

A smaller cohort of 50 students per year can offer several advantages. It allows for closer interaction between students and faculty, creating an environment conducive to collaborative learning, in-depth discussions, and a more personalized educational experience. This can contribute to a stronger sense of community among students and facilitate better access to resources and support.

Additionally, a smaller class size can lead to more effective mentorship opportunities, enabling faculty members to closely monitor individual progress, provide targeted guidance, and address specific learning needs. The intimate setting may also encourage students to actively participate in class activities, fostering a more engaging and dynamic learning atmosphere.

While the limited intake of 50 students may restrict the overall size of the B.Tech program, it underscores a commitment to quality education and individualized development. Prospective students considering B.Tech at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University should weigh the benefits of a smaller class size against other factors such as programme curriculum, faculty expertise, infrastructure, and overall university reputation to ensure that  the educational environment aligns with their preferences and learning goals.

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

Pros:

* Good placement record: About 60-70% of students from the CSE branch get placed, with an average package of INR3-4 Lacs per annum.
* Well-qualified faculty: Majority of the teachers are M.Tech/PhD qualified and are helpful and supportive.
* Modern infrastructure: The college has well-equipped labs, classrooms, and hostels with Wi-Fi connectivity.
* Good academic performance: The pass percentage is relatively high (around 40%) in most subjects.
* Variety of courses: The university offers a range of courses, including Bio-stream options.

Cons:

* Limited exposure to top companies: Few reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment, leading to limited placement opportunities.
* Average package: While the average package is decent, it could be higher considering the qualifications and skills of the graduates.
* Infrastructure issues: Some students reported poor Wi-Fi connectivity and occasionally malfunctioning smart boards.
* Limited opportunities for internships: Few internships are available, and those that exist might not offer competitive stipends.

Overall, while SVSU has its strengths, such as good faculty and infrastructure, it seems to struggle with limited placement opportunities and lower-than-expected packages. However, the university appears to be making efforts to improve its industry connections and placement records.

Recommendation: For students seeking a strong educational foundation and a chance to develop their skills, SVSU might be a suitable option. However, those looking for extensive corporate connections and higher-paying job prospects might consider alternative institutions.

This is an average college.
Placements: Placements are fine in this college. Around 50% of students are placed. Placements drives are also conducted in this college. The internships are not great in law.
Infrastructure: In this college, the facilities and infrastructure are fine. The library is great. The hostel and Wi-Fi facility is not good. This university should provide free Wi-Fi to its students, and the hostel buildings are not spacious. The food served is also fine.
Faculty: Faculty members are good in this college, and the curriculum is well-set. The exams are average if students study properly. But an issue arrives in the marking system that the marks given are less than the content written in the examination. In this college, getting above 90 is necessary for the exams, but they do not give marks easily.

Academically, it is a good college.
Placements: No placement is offered by the college. A one-month of internship (unpaid) is provided in district court in the previous year other than this, there is no opportunity for an internship, you will just get a degree. It offers a 5-year law degree and also LL.M. and Ph.D. degrees.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good and the library of the law college is well occupied with all-important law books, bare acts, commentary, and others. There are a total of 7 girls' hostels. The hostel fee is quite expensive but the facilities and infrastructure of the hostel are not worth of money. The mess food tastes horrible. You will get a lot of canteens on the university campus.
Faculty: Academically, the college is good. It offers a 5-year course and LL.M. Faculty members are well qualified and helpful. 75% of attendance is mandatory in order to sit for exams. Webinars and moot court competition is organised on regular basis. Overall, in view of academics, the college is good.

I am satisfied with its teachers and needs to improve in the field of extra curriculum activities.
Placements: There is no scope for placements. Our college does not provide placements so 0% of students are placed. There are 4-5 students who have cracked judiciary. Several students get internships under individual advocates. The top roles offered by law are judicial officers, advocates, corporate lawyers, and many more.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available in this college like Wi-Fi, and students will find every book in the library. There is a computer laboratory as well. Teachers are very helpful. Hostel facilities include a study room, Wi-Fi i.e paid, games room, and many more. Food quality is also good. There are many canteens on the campus which are open till 9.00 PM, and there is a night canteen also in the girls' hostel from where they can order till 12.30 AM.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. They are always available whenever they need help. They provide sufficient study materials also. Our college makes the students industry-ready. Teachers also help in the preparation of the judiciary.
Other: Extra curriculum activities should be improved in this college. In this college, events and fests are not held. There are also no placements.

If you want a law college, then I'll highly recommend you to join this beautiful college.
Placements: As I am from the law department, the average salary package offered to us is around 6 LPA-8 LPA. High-profile companies visited our campus for recruitment, and almost 80% of the students got placed from here. The highest salary package offered in the last year was 6 LPA to a BBA student as an opportunist.
Infrastructure: Our campus surroundings are very comfortable, and it's a huge campus. There are different departments for a particular course, and every department has its own canteen. 24x7 free Wi-Fi is also available for students as well as teachers. The hostel facility is also available, and there is also a playground.
Faculty: As I am a law student, teachers provide practice training to students about the court. Moreover, students visit the real court and Kutchery for more knowledge and experience. Teachers are highly qualified and also encourage students to learn more new things about the law and court.
Other: I chose the law course because the law is the best department on this campus as practical knowledge is provided to students. Many events are also organised for the development of students. Well-known personalities also visited our campus to motivate students.

It is an excellent college, and you can enjoy the college life.
Placements: The placements are good. The learning environment is amazing, creative and innovative. I lived a different life socially and mentally. I have enjoyed great food in the mess. The hostels are comfortable and affordable. Thanks for providing the opportunity to tell everyone.
Infrastructure: Amazing infrastructure and greenery are present all around. The campus is maintained and decorated with flowers and paintings all around. Especially, the arts college and the mega convocation hall Mangalaya are worth to see. We used to stay there a lot, and we enjoyed the fun of sitting together in respective events like yoga divas, annually function and convocation.
Faculty: I have enjoyed a lot with my professors. They are helpful and have full of knowledge. Some of them are ready to help beyond the way and teach with many examples. They coordinate with the time that is worth for money. Extra classes and extra knowledge are provided.
Other: Events are conducted on a regular basis in the college. We have enjoyed few grand events, but there are no celebrity events organised or annual functions. But, we have a martial day on every historical date of the month in our grand convocation hall.
