No, CCSU is not a participating university of CUET. As UPCET is scrapped, CUET-PG exam score and counselling is considered for admission to MBA and MCA courses. Looking at the placement data, as per the NIRF report 2024, a total of 323 BTech students graduated in 2023. Out of these 263 were placed successfully during Chaudhary Charan Singh University Meerut placements 2023. This makes the placement rate 81%. Earlier, out of 408 BTech graduates, 320 were placed during CCSU placements in 2022. This means the placement rate stood at 78%. The university shortlists candidates for MBA based on CUET-PG scores as UPCET has been scrapped out. Candidates are now shortlisted based on CUET-PG and will further be invited for counselling. Candidates who successfully go through the counselling will further be allotted a seat. The Central University Entrance Test (Postgraduate) or CUET PG, is an all-India level entrance exam which is being introduced for admission into PG programmes. The exam is conducted in a computer-based mode for 105 minutes or 1 hour 45 minutes.

The minimum eligibility requirement for BSc admission at CCSU is a pass in Class 12 or equivalent exam. But meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee an admission at the university. Candidates must have studied relevant Science subjects in Class 12, depending upon their chosen specialisation. The eligibility criteria may vary across the specialisations. For Computer Science specialisation, the candidate must have scored at least 60% aggregate (55% aggregate for SC/ST) in Class 12. Hence, candidates must make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria specified for their desired specialisation. If a candidate fails to secure a seat at CCSU for BSc, they can explore other colleges/universities offering the course. They can also pursue the course through a college/university offering online BSc courses.
