If you love pet animals then can join this college.

Placements: My college had 90 members, of which 400 were VCI students. There were not many placements because the government could not realize the positions. It is much better to go to a private college for veterinary surgeon training.

Good facilities but no placements.

Placements: NTR College of Veterinary Science is a government institution; hence, on-campus placement or job opportunities are little to none. Though this is a demanding course, government jobs are very limited. But you can still try in sectors like dairy corporations or open any private clinic.

Absolutely satisfied because of good infrastructure, teaching quality and facilities.

Placements: Maximum number of all the passed out graduates got jobs either in government or private sector. The private companies pay you about INR 45k after BVSC and between INR 65k to 70k in case of clinical departments. If you want to get government job you have to wait for a couple of years because there is no regular notification.

It provides very good professors and the best in teaching and other facilities.

Placements: No particular placements are conducted separately on campus. Most of the students opt for post-graduation and also choose to go abroad for higher studies. The students after completion of education move into the animal husbandry department whenever government releases notification for the recruitment of veterinary assistant surgeons.

It is a good college with good faculty members and an environment.

Placements: I am from the 2016 batch, and I will complete my course by January 2022. Currently, I am doing an internship. The college deals with life sciences, and there are no placements. Mostly, students prefer to opt for higher education like PG and other courses. Some students may prefer to do private-sector jobs related to animal husbandry and companions animals. Some of the students may start their entrepreneurial life by starting their own clinics, dairy farm, etc. Most of the students move into the ...

I am satisfied with this college. It has good faculty members.

Placements: About 30-40% of the students from our course get placement. The highest salary offered ranges from Rs. 70,000-80,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered ranges from Rs. 20,000-30,000 per month. Wildlife World Zoo is the top recruiting company that visits our college for placements. About 20% of students from our course get an internship. The top role is offered in this course.

A variety of opportunities are offered by this course and our college in real life.

Placements: There is no problem with placements if you are from Andhra Pradesh. I got placed in on-campus placements, and you will get many private jobs easily and can start a private hospital. For private-sector jobs, the starting salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. If you do post-graduation, you will get a salary of Rs. 50,000 per month-60,000 per month. It is mandatory to do an internship in our college, and you will travel throughout the state for exposure. Around 2-3 companies provide exposure, and...

Satisfied with the college environment, teaching, sports, etc., but the food is somewhat okay.

Placements: Definitely, the students who passed out with a good OGPA (overall grade points) are offered with jobs. In the old pattern, our seniors with OGPA around 7.5-10 got placed on the campus placements, but now, in the new pattern, I think the students should have a minimum of 6.7 OGPA to get the job on the campus placements.

The college is one of the best colleges in Tirupati.

Placements: Placement opportunities are very good. Good faculty are present in the placement cell. Teaching provided to the students is excellent. As a veterinarian, the students have to know many things. Students should treat every animal well. Case sheets must be noted regularly.

The faculty are not satisfactory. Highly dissatisfied with water scarcity present in the college.

Placements: We have a placement cell in our college, but the information regarding the placements is not discussed. By studying this course, we may not find good jobs in the private sector, and our state government does not provide government jobs. The stipend offered was very low during the internship.

Best government campus to study your graduation in veterinary.

Placements: Best government posts can be chosen, or we can enter into the private sector like milk dairy, feed plants and pharma companies. There is great exposure towards research side, and we can pursue in other countries with our great BVSC degree. We have a well-settled course with well-structured VCI board. We can get placed as a teaching staff and lab scientist in universities.

Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University College, Tirupati.

Placements: Usually, graduates from this university get government jobs in Andhra Pradesh Animal Husbandry Department as Veterinary Assistant Surgeon. But in recent times, things have been changed, and people get attracted towards jobs in a private sector like dairy, poultry, nutrition, and biotechnology companies. In this regard, the college has established a placement cell which works as a platform for graduates and private companies. Experienced professors support it in college and arrange placements thr...
