Placements: Placements in SIT are very good. Many good companies like Bombardier, Siemens, and Microsoft, etc., visit to recruit students. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. I recommend students joining SIT not to have backlogs because it affects your placement opportunities. Teachers are also cooperative during placements.

Placements: The placements of the college are average. The placements are good only for few branches like CS and IT department. It is average for the rest of the departments. The students get internships based on their present backlogs else almost everyone gets internships. We get high packages once we get placed although getting placed is actually hard work to do. Placements: Placements haven't reached our expectations. We are expecting many more placement opportunities for the students of the civil and mechanical departments, but the placements for the students of the CSE and IT departments are quite good. We hope that we will be offered some placement opportunities before completing our B.Tech course. However, overall, the placements are average.

Placements: Overall, the placements of the college are average. If we go branch wise, then CS and IT departments have really good placement opportunities. ETC department has average placement results. The placements for mechanical and civil branches are not at all good for now. From this year, even civil department students are getting an opportunity to get placed in the core companies.

Placements: CS and IT department have much higher placement opportunities in comparison to civil and mechanical department. Civil and mechanical branch do have placements but not very high. We hope that the scenario will be changed until our graduation. However, the college is putting in efforts for that. Overall placements are good, and we are happy overall.

However, if the academic performance is not good, then the students will only be offered profiles in the sales sector. Our college is better when compared to other colleges regarding job security. Placements: There is a separate placement cell for MBA students where we get hands-on training of corporate as well as mock interview sessions. There was 100% placement assistance provided by SIHS placement cell. There were 100% placements in the previous batch according to college policy, i.e. excluding students with backlogs. Placements: Our college has good placements records since its inception in the year 1993. In 2017, the average salary package offered was 9 LPA. Major companies come from the BFSI sector; HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Axis Bank to name a few. Good companies like Deloitte and Godrej from the manufacturing and consulting sector also visit the college to hire the students. The placements season starts in November, and the college has 100% placements for the last ten years.

Placements: Placements in the college are excellent. Almost 100% of the students got placed in the college placements. Also, 100% of the students got internships from the college recruitment process. Big Fours are the first to visit the college in every placement season followed by the various core and analytics companies.

Placements: Senior batch students got placed in good companies like Credit Suisse, Yes Bank, Bank of America, Infosys, etc. They offered the average salary package around 8 LPA, and the maximum package offered was 15 LPA. The summer placements are good for marketing students as more companies visit the campus and offer sales and marketing profiles to placed students.

Placements: Placement drives of our batch are yet to be conducted. Placements of senior batch were good. The average salary package offered was around 6-8 LPA. Roles like management trainee, project management and some roles in sales and for finance were offered for students. We are expecting a good number of placement opportunities, this year.

Placements: Two companies came for placements of the mechanical branch this year, and many more companies came for other branches. Famous companies like Dell and many others come to recruit students, but still, the number of companies coming is very less. Selection process during the campus drives was smooth, but the number of students selected was low.

Placements: The placement season was very impressive for the batch of 2016-18. More than 75 companies visited the campus in total. For marketing, the number of companies visited were 55 for the batch of 60 students. IT, consulting, BFSI, FMCG were the key sectors. The average package offered was around 9.5 LPA.

Placements: There is no focus on placements for our course as the majority do not opt for it. One internship is compulsory in the industries like in banking, consulting, credit rating companies etc. Another internship should be done in an NGO. Internships are generally unpaid.

Placements: Last year, the companies which visited the campus were not much satisfying. The average salary package offered to placed students was too low. Most of my seniors went for off-campus placements. I don't think everybody got placed, and even many were not satisfied with what they got.

Placements: The placements record provided by the college are deceptive. The placement are 85%+ but their is a minimum eligibility criteria for appearing in placements provided by the college which is not very difficult to achieve. They have special committee (placement cell), training sessions and many other things that will help go through the interview and grab the job. The highest package last year was 6lakh + p. a which is pretty good for a business graduate.
