Honest review of TMU, Moradabad.
Placements: The average salary package offered ranges from 6-8 LPA. Our college does offer international placements but not as great for international companies. The salary package offered usually varies around 12 LPA. Most students opt for higher education or prepare for government jobs post B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture.
Infrastructure: Department of Agriculture Science is located outside the main campus. It is nothing like the dream college of students. There are four on-campus hostels and one off-campus hostel for boys and girls. The hostel has free Wi-Fi, clean drinking water, and 100 units of free electricity and the further consumption is chargeable. Room cleaning is always available. The mess facilities are okay but the food does not taste good. The university has its own water treatment plant so dirty water running through washrooms taps is quite normal. Our college has a good infrastructure.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and supportive. The course curriculum has vast subjects. We have multiple labs and theory classes. Practicals are conducted regularly. Exams are conducted on a regular basis. It conducts three mid-term exams, internal and external practical exams, and the end-semester exams.
Other: There is a marketplace in the university itself where daily utility items and eateries are available. There is great security within the university for the safety of students. Different sports facilities are provided like one well-developed indoor stadium, one cricket ground, and one multipurpose sports ground.

Good faculty with better infrastructure.
Placements: Yes, our college, TEERTHANKER MAHAVEER UNIVERSITY, is providing the best internship opportunities to students at the end of the 6th semester and the best placement opportunities at the end of the 8th semester. The percentage should be above 75%. The lowest package is around 18,000 approximately, and the highest is 30,000 approximately. Top companies like Cargill, Syngenta, etc. are provided. The students with a 75% percentage will be eligible for internships in other countries like Germany, Denmark, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has great infrastructure and facilities to explain the topics clearly to the students. The college has agricultural land and labs to perform practicals and provide knowledge. The faculty here has completed Master's degrees in different universities and provides good knowledge.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful in enabling students to understand topics clearly, and the knowledge provided by them helps in clearing entrance exams like JRF. The course curriculum is helpful and relevant, and it prepares students for the industry. The pass percentage in semester exams is 45 out of 100, and they are a little difficult but provide good knowledge.
Other: This course helps provide the skills to cultivate agricultural crops with better techniques and introduces me to new tools and machines to cultivate. There will be fewer fests compared to other colleges, and events like Pongal, Onam, Ganesh Chaturthi, and all other regional festivals will be celebrated well.

The college is good and improvement is needed.
Placements: The placement percentage is very low, and only one or two companies come for placements. The packages offered are very low, and the faculty is not doing enough to help students get jobs.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is unreliable, especially in the winter. The library is too small and should be on campus, not off-site. The food is below average and not very appetizing. The sports and games are good, but not everyone participates.
Faculty: The teachers are good, but more practical knowledge is required, such as field experience and visits to various types of places. Also, the curriculum should be provided in advance so that students can plan accordingly. Exams should be conducted in a manner that allows students to share their experiences, which would help them score higher grades.
Other: I chose Agriculture as my major because I am deeply attracted to it. It is the main occupation in India, and I think it is a very good course of study. However, there are only a few events and fests each year, and extracurricular activities need to be improved.

Really good college for students pursuing a good future in academics in the B.Sc. RIT.
Placements: 20% of students were placed in my course. The highest package of the overall university is 60 LPA and in my course, the highest package offered by hospitals is 10 LPA, the lowest package is 2 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. The top hospitals which participated in campus placements are Apollo and Vedanta. All students got internships from my course except 10%. The top role is MRI Technician.
Infrastructure: The following facilities are available for my course: Wi-Fi-enabled campus with a speed of more than 300 Mbps. All required labs are available. Classrooms are well-furnished with projectors and microphones. The library is available with all the required books needed for the course. The following facilities are available in the hostel: a maximum of four-seater rooms are available with combined washrooms and a cooler. The food quality is better than expected, but it tastes bad. The college hospital is 5 minutes away from the hostel via ambulance. A cricket ground is available, and there is an indoor facility with world-class amenities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and have good knowledge of their assigned subjects. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is assigned and authorized by the government, and it makes students knowledgeable in their field. The semester exam can be rated as average. The pass percentage is 45%, and most students pass the semester except for 2-5%.
Other: Well, the course was suggested by my family among all the paramedical courses. The best thing is that you can choose any of the academic, treatment, and diagnosis fields after completing the course. The improvement I would suggest is that the course should be more practical-based with an increased number of clinical postings. Many events are organized by the university, like convocation, annual fest, etc. The campus crowd is not bad, though. Connectivity is usually available. The campus is better than the surrounding area present around the campus.

Better education of my college.
Placements: My college placement has a percentage of 90 to 95% every year. The highest placement in my college is 8 lacs per annum, and the lowest is 600,000 per annum. The top recruiting companies in my college are Singenta, Dehat, and Animall. 80% of students got internships. The top roles offered in this course are civil service, bank service, forest service, and other services.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The size of the classroom is big with complete, ventilated AC, and the condition of the bench is good. In the hostel, we have a canteen, a separate study room, a cricket room, an indoor TV room, and attached and common washrooms. The quality of food is very good.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful and highly knowledgeable. All are Ph.D. holders. They regularly communicate with students and guide them for the future and have regular doubt classes. The semester exam is very good; they ask questions on the basis of the classes. The passing percentage is 97%.
Other: I choose this course because my childhood dream was to become an agriculturist. I want to improve the agricultural sector in India. I want to improve organic farming in India and mushroom cultivation. Every year we have a two- or three-event and convocation program.

Campus is nice. But in terms of placement it is very disappointing.
Placements: The placement record is quite disappointing. While a few students from top branches manage to secure jobs, the majority find it difficult to get placed. The companies that visit the campus are mostly small-scale or offer low-paying jobs. The placement cell tries to assist, but there?s a clear lack of effort in bringing reputed companies to the campus. Students often have to rely on off-campus opportunities to secure decent jobs.
Infrastructure: The hostel rooms are average in size, offering basic amenities like beds, study tables, and cupboards. Depending on the room type, you may be sharing with three or four other students. While some rooms have attached bathrooms, others have common bathrooms, which can sometimes be inconvenient. The rooms could use better ventilation, especially during hot months, as the fans provided are often not enough. Cleanliness is maintained to a fair degree, but there are occasional lapses in housekeeping services.
Faculty: Teachers are expected to be knowledgeable. Their teaching method is also fine . The class organises many curriculum activities, and it's easy to pass the exam. Teachers help students to get past the exam. There is a 75% attendance requirement for attending the exams.
