ICFAI UNIVERSITY SIKKIM review .

Placements: The batch is very good, where we got a chance to enhance our communication skills. The package provided after placement is 8 LPA on average, where the last 6 months are for internship. In this, we have to select some companies where we can do internship work.

Infrastructure: The hostel facility is provided by the college, where they are charging 60,000 per year. Though the hostel is quite far from the college, they are providing bus facility. The college is providing Wi-Fi in the hostel as well as in the college, and computer facilities are also provided by them.

Faculty: The curriculum is well-managed, taking us to many companies where we can learn from the working environment. They provide us with the best experience by conducting experiments-based exams. The exams are conducted on a semester basis every 6 months.

Other: The college is providing the scholarship facility where they are giving 50% scholarship so I decided to join this college .

Good infrastructure, facilities and faculty members.

Placements: All the students got internship, some in CA. 's firm, some in insurance companies, some in hotels and some in audit department. Most of the student had to find the company on their own for internship. Only few students are working in the companies they did internship in. There want any recruitment for our batch, may be because our session ended just after covid.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is really good with free Wi-Fi all over the campus, well-equipped computer room, spacious library with wide variety of books, court room for law students, sports room for various games, canteen was there on and off the campus, scenic beauty around the campus, greenery all over and peaceful environment.

Faculty: College faculty members were highly qualified and they were friendly. They understand the uniqueness of each student and pay attention to each and everyone, periodic tests were conducted regularly. The only thing that I don't like is students get grade A if he/she scores 75+ marks, it increases the marks percentage of students along with hope of parents and the ego of self. I am an average student but got 99.4% and I think I cant defend my marks.

Other: The good thing about this college is it provides scholarship to bright students. Semester fee for our course was 20k +, but I had to pay only 3.2k. They organize various extracurricular activities every now and then.

Everything is fine, just the lack of an open academic field and aesthetics is needed here.

Placements: 60% above were placed in my commerce course. The top recruiting companies are banks and personal investment organizations. The top offered for my course is M.Com. We haven't had any internship conducted yet, but it's going to be in discipline and excellently conducted.

Infrastructure: My college has almost all the facilities needed in student life. The facilities are top-notch in the university; just a lack of playing grounds makes it incomplete. The canteen offers the best food for the price of less, which is a profit if we see. The teachers here are so genuine and great helping hands for the students.

Faculty: The teachers of the facility are top-notch and very helpful and kind. The semester exams in this college are perfectly aligned and fit for students. While there have been issues with the academic calendar due to natural cases in the state, the college has still kept up the syllabus short, brief, and enough for the students.

Other: I chose commerce as my course because I'm fairly interested in stock markets and financial management. The only thing that could be better in an M.A. course is to be able to showcase.

ICFAI, Sikkim’s campus review.

Placements: 50% of the students get placed in my course with the average package offered being 35000, whereas the highest package is not known, as they change as per the students’ capabilities and the ability of the students to serve the reputed companies. Top role offered includes Airline company jobs.

Infrastructure: Library, Wi-Fi, kitchen service, classrooms, smart boards, games facility, along with college buses are the facilities which make the college environment friendly and supportive of the student. The facilities provided by college are very helpful for the student including lunch benefits.

Faculty: The teachers are perfectly eligible to teach the students, having a good knowledge and being able to make the students ready for the competition and for them to decide their future course of action. The semester exams are not difficult for those who attend the classes regularly.

Other: I got to know of this college through a newspaper advertisement. This college gives scholarships to the students who are eligible and capable in their academics.
