The college provides a good atmosphere to learn better.

Placements: I always prefer practical learning over monotonous, old-fashioned classroom teaching techniques and this university has provided me with ample practical experiences in my field. We got 4 internships in very prestigious institutions including Institute of Psychiatry (IOP), Child in Need Institute (CINI), Apollo Gleneagles Hospital (Kolkata) and NIMHANS. We have experienced clinical observation of patients, case history taking, counselling and field work also.

Infrastructure: Labs and the classrooms are really good, well spaced and the library has a good collection of books. The location of the campus is really far from the main city but AC bus services are available. Furthermore, security of the students are taken as a higher priority and the campus is totally ragging free. All over, the atmosphere is really nice.

Faculty: All the professors are highly qualified. Moreover, they are very much helpful and cooperative and the method of teaching and evaluation are also very good - written exams along with assignments, practical and PPT presentation. The learning materials they provide are really very helpful and enriched with information and can be helpful for further preparations for M.Phil NET etc.
