The NorthCap University is the new brand name of ITM University (Institute of technology and management). Although the fee is on the higher on one side, but they provide you with such an infrastructure that you mind it less. Centralised air conditioned classrooms, well maintained washrooms, a cricket ground, and a newly built cafeteria are the highlights. A new building has been built recently which is way too good. Faculty and staff are well qualified, you actually get to learn a lot as a prope...

It's one of the best private emerging colleges in Delhi-NCR. Most of the crowd in the university hails from these regions. Most of the faculty have pursued their graduation from colleges such as IIT's. This university has a great stronghold on the placement of computer science students as it ensures 100% placement. It's strictly against ragging. The bad part of the college according to my intellect is fine of Rs.1000, if you use mobile in college except for Cafeteria.

NCU, previously known as ITM is well known for its B.Tech. course. CSE stream receives the best placement, with the highest package among other streams. Other courses like Law, B.Sc. and MBA are also available. In B.Tech, the highest package for last year was of Rs.18 Lakh. Average package ranges between Rs.3-4 Lakhs. The campus area is very limited and is spread over 20 acres. There are college hostels but they are a few kilometres away from the college. A best in class newly constructed cafete...

They have all facilities like for different activities for B.Tech students more as compared to management students. The infrastructure is up to the mark, teachers are good. The college lack in placing students in industry. So, placement department needs to work on this issue. As this is the most important thing for a college to grow, and it is the pillar for a student’s success.

ITM is a good college. The faculty is good. A lot of focus on teaching. Practical is also given importance. Placement team was not that great in our time as it was not able to place all of our fellow students. Needs to be better in placements. Infrastructure wise, it is a good college. Ac classes, reasonable canteen, big playgrounds for cricket, football, basketball, tennis, badminton, and etc. lab facilities are also good. Fee structure is not that great. It’s expensive.

At that time, when I was a part of this college, it was affiliated to M.D.U. Now, it’s a standalone university. Although the staff and the faculty are the same and management is the same, some changes have been there in the infrastructure. It has well esteemed and professional team of teachers providing excellent education with practical training as well. The campus is well maintained and has all the amenities and eateries all around with all the sports facilities, auditorium etc.

I joined this University when it was a college under MD University, Rohtak. There was an intake of only high ranking students and placement records were excellent. But with our college becoming a university, the fee was hiked, and the campus was a better place to live in. But the level of education went down, the crowd was no longer meritorious. Hence the placements were also not good.

The University's commitment to totally merit based decisions in every aspect of its operations constitutes an integral part of the learning environment; from selection of faculty members, to admission and evaluation of students. All programs of the University adhere to this core philosophy. The Location of the university is its main feature.

Study material is made available to student either through online portal or through library and teacher also give handouts to student. Tutorial are organise regularly. Now coming to Campus life, each year 3-4 college parties are organised which are awesome.

Good faculty, taken from IITs, very well-equipped labs and workshops. Tutorial classes for numerical practice, and chamber hours for faculty consultation. Should focus on overall development rather than academics alone. Should incorporate a 6 month internship for better learning. They impose fines on a lot of things, which is a fine for the patents rather than students.

The college ranks as the best private institution in the state. The educational standards are high and the college provides a congenial environment for learning. The library is the best place on campus. Apart from academics, the college balances the overall development of any individual through sports and other social events happening on campus throughout the academic year. The missing part of studying at ITM is the lack of hostel life which I feel is very crucial at that stage of life.
