    TISS Mumbai accepts CUET exam scores for admission to its BA course. Common University Entrance Test also known as CUET UG is a national level entrance exam conducted by NTA for admission to UG courses offered by participating institutes.

    TISS Mumbai BA course is offered as a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science (BASS). The UG-level programme lasts for four years and is presented in a full-time mode. BA admission is based on the CUET exam followed by a personal interview. The institute usually conducts its entrance exam TISSNET for admission. However, the exam has been canceled for the academic year 2024. However, before applying candidates must make sure to qualify for the BA eligibility criteria, as follows:

    Q:   How can I get admission to B.A programme at TISS Mumbai?

    A: 

    To get admission in TISS Mumbai for its BA course, candidates must first qualify the CUET exam. After the CUET exam, students must shortlists on the merit lists. Shortlisted students are called in for the couselling/personal interview at the institute. After the session, candidates are invited for the final admission via the registered mail. Finally, students have to pay the first installment fee to confirm their seat.

    As per the Tata Institute of Social Sciences Mumbai's admission guidelines admission to its bachelor's programme for the academic year 2024-25 will be through CUET (UG)-2024 conducted by NTA. Candidates must have a valid eligibility criteria for its BA course, before applying for the CUET exam. Hence, admission to TISS Mumbai BA course without CUET is not applicable.

    Q:   How are the summer placements at TISS Mumbai?

    A: 

    TISS Mumbai has completed the summer placement for the Human Resources and Labour Relations of batch 2024. The batch consists of 77 who all got placed among those 95 per cent of the total students who received the stipend of Rs 2 Lacs and above. The highest stipend offered was Rs 4 Lacs for two months while 25 per cent of them were offered at Rs 3.25 Lakhs. A total of 33 women participated in the placement drive and a total of 77 offers were made in the HR domain. About 36 companies participated, of which two were first-time recruiters. The key highlights of TISS Mumbai summer placements 2024 are tabulated below:

    Q:   Can I get direct admission to B.A programme at TISS Mumbai?

Instead, candidates are evaluated through a comprehensive selection process that includes entrance exams, interviews, and/or group discussions. This process assesses candidates based on their academic qualifications, performance in entrance exams, and programme-specific criteria. All applicants are required to meet the eligibility criteria and actively participate in the designated admission procedure. It is essential for candidates to familiarise themselves with the specific requirements and diligently follow the established process to maximise their chances of securing admission to TISS.

    BA Eligibility Criteria: Class 12 in any subject stream from a recognised board.

    Q:   Is the CUET answer key released?

    A: 

    National Testing Agency has not released the CUET 2025 provisional answer key. NTA is yet to issue the notification regarding the release of CUET answer key 2025 and CUET response sheet. On release of the CUET provisional answer key, candidats can challenge the answer key. Based on the objections recieved, CUET UG 2025 final answer key will be released tentatively in last week of July 2025.
