TISS Mumbai MBA Eligibility & Highlights 2026
Tata Institute of Social Sciences or TISS, Mumbai MBA course is not a MBA course. MBA at TISS, Mumbai is instead a MA course which is equivalent to an MBA course.
TISS Mumbai MA course is a two year course that is offered in full-time mode in specialisations such as MA in Human Resource Management and Labour Relations, Social Entrepreneurship, Globalisation, and Labor, etc. The college also offers MBA as a self-financed course.
TISS Mumbai MBA admissions are decided on entrance basis. The selection of candidates is done on the basis of the scores obtained in the CUET-PG entrance exam. In addition to the aforementioned entrance exam, candidates need to also fulfill the set eligibility criteria for the MBA course as tabulated below:

TISS Mumbai MBA/PGDMTISS Mumbai MBA Fees 2026
TISS Mumbai MBA fee is comprised of several components including tuition fees, charges, funds, hostel fees and deposits. Students must pay the TISS Mumbai MBA admission fees to finalize their seats. Candidates must also pay a caution deposit of INR 10,000, which shall be refundable at the time of exit from the programme.

TISS MBA admission dates are yet to be revealed for the 2026 session. The candidates will be selected on the basis of the CUET-PG entrance exam scores during the 2026 session. Therefore, candidates must watch out for dates related to the CUET PG 2026 exam dates which are usually scheduled between the months of January and April.

TISS Mumbai MBA Admission 2026: How to Apply?
TISS Mumbai MBA application process is conducted in online mode. The candidates are selected on the basis of their scores in the CUET-PG entrance exam for the MBA course during the TISS Mumbai admissions. The steps mentioned-below show the entire process behind TISS Mumbai MBA course admission:
STEP 1: TISS Mumbai MBA Application Process
- Go to the official website of TISS, Mumbai (https://tiss.ac.in/)
- Register on the website.
- Select the desired MBA course.
- Fill out the application form.
- Pay the TISS Mumbai MBA application fees. The application fee is as follows:
- Unemployed candidates with parent’s/guardian’s annual income less than INR 2.5 Lakhs for SC/ST and INR 1 lakh for OBC(NC): INR 250
- SC/ST candidates: INR 500 + bank charges
- OBC(NC) candidates: INR 250 + bank charges
- Candidates not falling under SC/ST/OBC(NC) category: INR 1000 + bank charges
Documents Required at the Time of Admissions
- Certificates along with mark sheets of both Class 10 & 12
- Graduation certificate along with mark sheets
- CUET-PG exam scorecard
- Proof of both ID and address
- Passport-size photographs
- Character certificate
- Migration certificate
- Domicile certificate
- Attested copies of birth certificate and last qualifying examination
- Attested copies of any other necessary document required (SC/ ST/ OBC certificate etc.)
STEP 2: Selection Rounds
After the conclusion of the application procedure, the candidates are shortlisted based on the fulfillment of eligibility and selection criteria. Candidates are shortlisted based on academic records and scores in CUET-PG. These candidates are called for group discussion and personal interview rounds for further evaluation.
STEP 3: Confirmation of Admissions
Selected candidates have to pay the TISS Mumbai MBA admission fee to confirm their admissions. The admission fee will be a small portion of the first instalment of the MBA fees at TISS Mumbai.
TISS Mumbai MBA Curriculum
TISS Mumbai MBA curriculum has a duration of two years that covers four semesters. TISS Mumbai MBA syllabus covers foundational subjects in the early semesters such as Organisational Behavior. In the later semesters, students will start to learn subjects that cover the Media and Entertainment business.

CUET PG registration process 2026 is completely online, and candidates can fill out the application form by creating a registered account at the official website. The last date for filling out the CUET PG application form 2026 will be notified soon.
No, TISS Mumbai doesn't accept Common Admission Test or CAT for admission to its MBA programme. However, the institute does accepts The Central University Entrance Test (Postgraduate) or CUET PG for admission. Candidates are therefore required to register for the CUET PG exam before applying for the MBA programme at TISS Mumbai. Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in Mumbai does not offer an MBA programme.
