Review of Tripura University.
Placements: Placements are quite good. Every year 85% of students get placed across various domains that include IT and also core. The average salary package varies from 4.5 LPA to 5 LPA, which is a decent package. This college provides internships as a part of curriculum. One can access internships from external top companies as this college brings internships as a part of campus drives and student can show their skills there.
Infrastructure: There is a wide range and accessibility of books and journals available in library.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-trained with a minimum of M.Tech and Ph.D., and they inspire students to perform various tasks. They are highly motivated and have a good bond with students. It's very rare for students to fail the examinations. So this college inspired me to choose this over others.
Other: In the year, there are occasions such as Indigenous Day, Tejas Event, and Annual Day. Each program has competitions with different departments

Our college maintains a discipline and makes students participate in everything.
Placements: Placements at our college are very nice. During the recession, VIT provided many placements for students. Students who are average in their studies can get placements easily here. If they are toppers in the class, they can get selected by Google, Amazon, etc. The university has collaborations with numerous national and international companies.
Infrastructure: Annual sports day is held at the end of every year. There are more than 30,000 books in the library They provide fans, air conditioners, and smart boards in classrooms. The library has personal computers. Many sports are available on campus like outdoor and indoor.
Faculty: Our college is known for its highly qualified faculty. Many of them hold Ph.D. degrees and have extensive experience in academia and industry. Faculty members are involved in research, publishing in reputed journals, and contributing to technology advancement. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:10. The relationship between some of the faculty and students is friendly.
Other: Our college encourages students to participate. They provide an NCC campus for interested students. They are NCC and NSS groups for students. Our college has a club for mental health and wellbeing.

Limited placement and opportunities for the students.
Placements: In my university, the psychology department of my batch has only 13 students. There is no package system. Teachers used to give lectures on various subjects and courses of psychology, and no practicals are done, and they don't even take us on field studies. Our department provides internships in one of the hospitals for around 2 months, but they don't offer internships in other companies.
Infrastructure: The facilities of the hostels are not so good; it's average because they provide food two times a day—one in the morning and one in the evening. In the afternoon, they don't provide any meal, which is a major disadvantage for our hostel girls. Whereas the quality of the food is also not preferable; they don't give healthy and fresh food.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, and all of them are knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is amazing. The course curriculum is totally relevant and makes students encouraged to study hard and be passionate. The semester exams are overall average, not so difficult, because teachers used to provide us with materials helpful for the exam.
Other: I chose the psychology course because I am very passionate about giving people advice, understanding their problems, and helping them in their day-to-day life. It would be better if our department provided field studies, where students will learn how to deal with patients and how to give counseling sessions.

M.A Economics has strong placement, excellent faculty, and modern infrastructure.
Placements: I am enrolled in the M.A. in Economics program at Tripura University. In our course, approximately 75%-80% of the students get placed through campus recruitment. The highest package offered has been around INR 5 LPA, with the lowest package being around INR 2 LPA. On average, students receive offers ranging from INR 2.5-3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course include banks, economics think tanks, and government organizations such as NABARD and research institutes. About 70% of students secure internships at reputed firms, mainly in financial analysis, data research, and consultancy roles. The top roles offered included Economics Analyst, Research Associate, and data consultant.
Infrastructure: The economics department at Tripura university offers good infrastructure for students. They are well-furnished classrooms, computer labs equipped with necessary software, and a comprehensive library with a vast collection of economics journals and research papers. Wi-Fi is available across campus, facility has easy access to academic resources. The hostel facilities are average, providing comfortable accommodation. The mess food is decent and hygienic, though some variety is needed. Medical facilities and sports infrastructure are available but are basic.
Faculty: The faculty in the Economics department is highly qualified and supportive. Most professors have extensive experience in both teaching and research, which makes learning insightful and relevant. The curriculum is comprehensive and designed to equip students with the skills necessary for the industry as well as academic research. It includes a balance of theoretical and applied economics. Semester exams are moderately challenging, requiring consistent efforts, but around 85%-85% of students typically pass.

Overall best university for M.A. in Economics.
Placements: In the Economics batch, around 70–80% of students were placed in 2019–2021. The highest salary offered was 30 LPA by TCS. The average salary is 15 LPA. About 74% of students received internships between 2019 and 2021. The top recruiters are Bank of Baroda, HDFC Bank, Alice Blue and others.
Infrastructure: The classrooms have projectors, there is a well-stocked library, and the staff and teachers are good and have the proper degrees. The hostels are beautiful, and although I never lived in one, they have good and healthy food for students, nice medical facilities with a good doctor, and lots of sports facilities, including basketball, football, and volleyball.
Faculty: The professors in our college are helpful, well qualified, and intelligent. The course is about curriculum. They constantly send their students to different projects to learn different topics. Semester exams are difficult because of classes. Other professional courses are offered. The pass rate is 53%.

Best college in northeast.
Placements: There is no concept like placements in my department. Many of the students opted for private lectureship. Many cracked government exams. According to official data, the highest package was 20 LPA. Lectureship and professorship are the best and topmost roles offered during my time.
Infrastructure: The library was good, with a lot of books present. Wi-Fi is not available in the hostel, only in the library. Labs are so-so. The food was not up to quality standards. The sports complex was under construction during my period, but there were ample facilities for sports like cricket, badminton, volleyball, etc.
Faculty: The faculty was good, but some professors were not up to the mark, being bookish with average IQ levels. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are easy to moderate. For me, semester exams were quite difficult because I was a student with reserved category, while friends were topping the exams.
Other: I chose the course because I was fascinated by it, and my Papa advised me to do so, realizing the ample potential for this job in the market and government sectors. Events and fests during my time were of a medium level; nowadays, the university is having grand celebrations.
