The university course list consists of undergraduate (B.B.A, B.Voc. etc.), postgraduate (M.A., M.Sc. etc.) postgraduate Diploma ( PG Diploma in Women's Studies, PG Diploma in Hindi Translation etc.) and integrated courses (M.A. Integrated). Tripura University courses are offered in diverse streams like engineering, law, sciences, humanities & social sciences etc. All the programmes of the varsity are offered in full time mode. It is a Central University that was established in October 1987. It is located at Agartala with 78 acres of campus. It is approved by UGC and has got accreditation from NAAC. Tripura University offers MD and MS at the PG level for Medical Stream. The final admission to various specialisations of MD and MS are based on NEET PG scores followed by the counselling. The MCC is the conducting body of NEET PG Counselling. As per Tripura cutoff 2023, the closing score of top courses including MD in General Medicine is 6373,  MS in Obstetrtics and Gynaecology is 11512,  MS in General Surgery is 13829. The median package offered to PG (1-year) and PG (2-year) students was INR 3 LPA and INR 2.60 LPA, respectively. For PG (3-year) courses, the median package was INR 10 LPA.
