Telangana University is a public university established in 2006 by the government of United Andhra Pradesh. It is accredited by NAAC with ‘B’ grade. The University has three campuses that is main campus located at Dichpally in Nizamabad, Telangana, South Campus located at Bhiknoor near Kamareddy and Sarangapur Campus located at Sarangapur near Nizamabad. Telangana University Sarangapur Campus is approved by UGC and presently offers Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course only. It is proposed to start MEd course and specialised teacher education courses like Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) and Master of Physical Education (MPEd) in near future.

The cut off for TS EdCET for the Sarangpur campus of Telangana university for the year 2023 was 1873, 2005, 3256 for Round 1, round 2 and for round 3 respectively for the B.Ed. program. Further cut off for the MBA program ranged around 17657 and on contrastingly on the other hand cut off for the MCA

It is to be noted that firstly for admission at B. Ed program at Telangana university, Sarangpur Campus is through TS EdCET entrance test. FOr the last year cut off for the round 1 went at 1873, round 2 at, 2005 and round 3 at some 3256 approximately.
