Unipune (Pune University or Savitribai Phule Pune University) offers a two-year MSc programme across 30+ specialisations to the students at PG level in the field of Science. The majority of MSc courses are available on the campus of the university and Pune University MSc admission is subject to a valid score in Online Entrance Exam (OEE) conducted by the University. Candidates need to possess a bachelor's degree from a recognised institute/ university in the relevant field to apply for UniPune MSc admission. Candidates seeking enrolment via Pune University OEE 2023 can apply online on the official website of Campus Common Entrance Platform (CCEP). There is no requirement to submit the required documents or application form offline. Check all the affiliated colleges of Pune University offering MSc programme

UniPune MSc Admission 2023: Eligibility, Selection, Fee & Seats

At the postgraduate level, UniPune offers a two-year MSc programme in over 30 specialisations. While admission to a majority of these specialisations is OEE based, there are a few courses, such as Medical Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science and Drug Chemistry, among others, admission to which is completely merit-based.

Total Fee: INR 6,900 - INR 2,42,000 (approx). The fee may tend to vary depending upon the specialisation chosen and the tenure of the programme.
Seat Intake: 960+

UniPune MSc Application Process 2023

Candidates who are in the final year of their qualifying exam can appear for OEE conducted by SPPU. However, their admission is subject to passing the qualifying exam. For admission to courses offered by the affiliated/unaided colleges under SPPU, candidates are required to visit/contact the shortlisted institute. The application fee for OEE is INR 600 for a single course (for General category students) and INR 400 (for reserved category candidates). Clubs in college are very good. They win many competitions in a year.

Placements: Campus placement is very good, but as the college is very crowded, there are tough challenges in getting a job. But the companies that visit the college are more than other colleges in Pune. I just need an 8 CGPA to get placement through campus. Fostering motivation and self-esteem, I also feel it in college.

Infrastructure: The annual fest is Gandharv. Colleges and clubs host many technical fests like Pradyot, Inspire, etc. The library has all the books that are required in our curriculum. Sports are not good in our college, while clubs let us participate in many extracurricular activities. A few of the clubs are: Coding Club, E-Cell, C?, Sambhav, Cipher, Rangbhumi, HH, etc.

Faculty: The number of faculty is divided by the number of students. There is an average relationship between students and faculty. I liked the Human Resource faculty because the faculty members were supportive, and Khan Sir was my favorite Marketing faculty because he was good but needed some improvement.

Placements: Top percent of students getting placed in big companies are highly interested in my course. The highest package offered to my course is 2.4 Lacs, and the lowest is 25k per month. The percentage of students with internships in my course is 60%. Companies like Tata and Wipro are mostly hiring.

Infrastructure: The facilities available for students in my college are so good. Wi-Fi and classrooms, as well as a library, are available in my college. The quality of food made in the canteen in college is so tasty, and medical facilities are available. However, sports are not available in my course.

Faculty: Teachers in my college are so helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They have great teaching quality. This course's curriculum is relevant, and students are industry-ready. Semester exams in my college are so easy, therefore the pass percentage is more than 85% for all subjects.

Other: I chose this course for getting the best computer experience. Events and festivals are so good. Scholarships are available in my course.

Placements: The percentage of students getting placed in my course is so good. The highest package offered for my course is 4 lacs per month. The top-ranked companies in India are recruiting students from my course. The percent of student internships in my course was 80%.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my course. All students gave positive reviews about the college. Such as Wi-Fi and the library, all things are provided to the students. Food in the canteen is not good for student health. Medical and gaming facilities are available.

Faculty: The teachers are so helpful and qualified; all teachers are so knowledgeable. This course is curriculum-relevant. Students are going for an industrial visit. The semester exam conducted at my college was difficult and the pass percentage is so high that for the semester exam, nearly 40% is required.

Other: I chose this course to become more developed. There is no wish to improve. The campus crowd is so good. Events are organized monthly in my course.

Great placements with beautiful infrastructure and excellent teaching faculty.

Placements: The placement cell of our college always keeps an eye on the progress of all the students. They prepare us for various interviews. Every year a large number of students from our college get jobs in various sectors; most of our seniors are employed in various government sectors, and also some reputed companies like Google, Lupin, TCS, Amazon, etc. The highest salary here is 18 LPA, and the average salary is 3-4 LPA. College faculty members organize various soft skills, seminars, project work, etc., for the students, which will help us to understand the outside industry. Every year more than 80% of students get jobs from campus.

Infrastructure: Our sprawling campus is spread over 65 acres of land with a lot of stunning architecture and numerous mind-blowing buildings. Our campus has a botanical garden as well as large playgrounds and is surrounded by large hills. Our campus does not have Wi-Fi but has a library for knowledge that has more than 3 lacs of modern and rare books. Hygienic and tasty food is available in the canteen. The classrooms are quite large and well-equipped; our campus has many labs with modern equipment. There are common rooms, hostels for boys and girls, and large auditoriums.

Faculty: Our faculty members are very humble and polite. Our teachers are highly educated and have many years of teaching experience. They interact with the students like friends; they pay special attention to each student and provide proper education with care. They apply all the theoretical knowledge in the practical field to make the students understand each and every concept in depth. It also ensures that no student faces any difficulty. Besides studies, they help students in various fields. And prepare students especially for interviews.

It is good to get knowledge for a particular field, but there is no hostel facility.

Placements: This college provides a minimal number of placements. In these two years since I am here, I am not sure about the placements held here. But in the past, they may have a good record of placements.

Infrastructure: It provides a quality education for students. It also provides a good infrastructure as well. It has best computer labs with all working well and with fast internet speed. There are no hostel mess and canteen facilities in our college.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and experienced. They have the best teaching techniques in their particular field of teaching. Teaching quality is good. It provides an industry-relevant curriculum to make students industry-ready. Exams are tough enough, and there is no chance of cheating.

Other: This course mainly focuses on software web and app development.

Good infrastructure and placement facilities.

Placements: The quality of placement decreased this year. Till last year, the CSE students were placed completely, while this year's branch placement is around 70%. The top recruiting companies at the college are Accenture, Hexaware, Cognizant, Capgemini, and Angular Minds.

Infrastructure: The college has some basic infrastructure and other facilities. To be honest, I don't like the infrastructure of the classroom at all. They are constructing some new ones that are better than the previous ones. In the hostel, there is a facility for Wi-Fi but not in the classroom.

Faculty: I am studying in the computer science branch, which I always wanted to pursue. The quality of teaching at Asian College is good. The faculty is good. In my branch, there are around 60 students, and if you ask about curriculum, it is updated every year.

Other: I took admission in 2022 and passed out in 2024 with an MCA degree.
