The college hosts various events throughout the year.
Placements: Till now, what I got to know is that I was offered 3 to 4 internships through college. One of them was a paid internship with an amount of Rs. 2500, including the registration fee of Rs. 1099. This led to a learning internship for a period of 9 months, after which a stipend was given, starting from Rs. 15,000 - Rs. 25,000.
Infrastructure: College has a big library with plenty of books and a large study area available. The college has an NCC unit. It also has large area surrounding it, which included many hostels and food stalls. The hostel has an in-time of eight for girls. The college is surrounded by a large jogging path and a garden in front. It is located near a famous street called FC Road.
Faculty: Faculty members provide the best of education system. Though some teachers fail to accommodate the class and maintain a good connection, most are effective. All assignments and projects were assigned on a particular schedule. Talking about the exams, I personally like their exam system a lot because it provides a comprehensive way of conducting exams regularly for students. In a single semester, there are two mid-sem exams held a month apart, each valued around 30 marks. After a one-month gap, there was an end-sem exam totaling 70 marks, adding up to 100 when combined.

Poor placements. Learning is good.
Placements: Placements for our batch wasn't so good but with their own efforts, people secured their jobs at some companies. For the seniors, the placement rate was quite good. 10 out of 30 were placed through campus placement. The maximum salary offered was Rs. 20000 and the lowest was Rs. 7000. Persistent, Sai Lifescience, Crest companies, etc. recruit the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Support for sports is very less and the schedule is quite hectic. The library and the educational facilities are excellent. The labs are well-equipped but the canteen is not good. The hostel is good since it's a university hostel.
Faculty: The faculty is very good and knowledgeable. Presentations are used for teaching. Industry exposure wasn't provided to us. The courses are very good. Teachers are available at all the times. You can ask for help anytime. But the placement cell is not good.

Good infrastructure and facilities at Bioinformatics Centre, SPPU.
Placements: The placements in our batch year were poor, although our seniors and super seniors are very well placed. Only 4 out of 27 were initially placed through campus interviews. The highest salary goes upto 25K with the lowest being up to 12-15K. There are many jobs as well as research opportunities in this field. To enter in research or academics, one compulsorily needs to have government competitive exams (UGC-NET, SET, BET, BINC, GATE) cracked for getting your monthly stipend ahead for research work. The starting amount is 25K depending on your funding agency and postion like project assistants, JRFs, SRF, research assistants or trainees.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent at bioinformatics centre. Well furnished computer labs, dataware houses and a personalized huge library for dept. High configuration computer machines, servers and laptops. Advanced LED screen teaching method in employed. The campus is beautiful, hostel services need to be improved, and canteen and mess services are available. The food and place are hygienic.
Faculty: The faculty here is highly qualified and super actively involved in research work. All teaching staff members are doctorates with specialization in various fields, this being a multidisciplinary subject. Student to teacher ratio is 30:1 which is good. The curriculum is diverse and covers many topics throughout the two years of course, so students are able to decide about their likings and fields of interest for higher studies.
