Amazing college life at Sardar Patel Institute of Technology (SPIT).
Placements: Almost 100% of the students attending for placements get placed. This year, the highest package offered by PhonePe is 33.3 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 15.03 LPA. Top recruiting companies that visit our college for placements are Oracle, Work India, JPMC, KPMG, MSCI, HDFC Bank, Barclays, and PhonePe. Students are offered internships in their 3rd year, both industrial and research internships. Companies like Barclays and some start-ups hire students and also offer them PPOs. Students do research internships at institutes like IITs.
Infrastructure: SPIT currently does not have hostels, but construction is going on. The infrastructure of classrooms is nice, but the infrastructure of labs, corridors, and the library can be improved. There is Wi-Fi available for each classroom and lab room. All the rooms are air-conditioned and well-ventilated. There is a canteen in our college, which provides good food at affordable rates. The mess in our college provides good food too. There is a gymkhana which has space for dance practices or other miscellaneous activities along with a gym.
Faculty: Teachers at SPIT are quite helpful and qualified. They are PhD holders and masters from top institutes like IITs. The teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher, from average to good to very good. The course curriculum is relevant. It teaches us the basics of requirements needed for industry. Along with the course material and self-study, students can become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficulty as questions come from the syllabus only. Most students pass the exams, around 95% is the pass percentage.
Other: I chose this course of CSE since I wanted to pursue this course only and my interests align with it. The best thing about the course is that there are subjects which will help us out in the future. It also has some courses like extracurricular courses and communication skills courses to improve our soft skills and to balance out the hard subjects in the course and help us refresh. The annual college fest named Oculus is held in March, it is a 3-day fest with 2 pronites and 1 day of inter-branch competitions. The college crowd is smart, creative, and helpful.

Average - go for it only if you live in Navi Mumbai and don't want to travel a lot.
Placements: If you can get a better option, then do not come here. I have not seen the top companies coming out here; it may be average for MBA courses but not for other courses. Do not expect a good package after completing your studies at this place. It has quite a reputation but the reality is different.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty basic. The curriculum is also average. Benches are broken. Mics for lectures do not work. Old classrooms. Collects a good amount of money and donations but hardly anything on infrastructure. Not a great college at all.
Faculty: Annual fests are pretty nice. Exams and curriculum are decent. Teachers are qualified. The curriculum is not that great. Lecturers hardly seem to care. They do their jobs and leave. Though they are available for doubt-solving,. The college seems to be more invested in festivals.

SST College - A promising institution for arts and commerce excellence.
Placements: The regard of placement was very low. Only 10% of students got placements by companies like HDFC Bank, Kotak, Mahindra Bank, and mostly banking sector. Internships were not provided by this college, and we had to take outside internships. The highest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: At SST College, there were 3 lab rooms. Every room had 30 to 35 computers also. High-speed Wi-Fi was available. We had a good and clean canteen. The food quality was good and the charges were also affordable. Lecture halls were also nice and had a projector and mic used by the lecturers.
Faculty: Teaching quality by mam and sir was best. They gave 100% of their to others. They also provided training to get ready for the company, and gave opportunities for industrial visits to big companies and industries. We also got NSC and B.Sc. Exam conducted by this college was strict.

Review of the Shri Shankar Narayan Education Trust's College of Arts Commerce.
Placements: The percentage of students who get placed in the course is 80%. The highest and the lowest salary packages are offered in our course. Top recruiting companies are interested in this course. The percentage of students who get internships in this course is more than 60% in companies like Infosys and Antraweb Technologies.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure present in my course are so good. Wi-Fi and classrooms are good. The library is available for the students. The quality of food available in this college is so good. Medical facilities are available. Sports and games are also present in this course.
Faculty: Teachers in my course are so helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They have great teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams in this course are so difficult. The pass percentage in this course is more than 95%.
Other: I chose this course to get a good job. Nothing should be improved in this course. Scholarships are available for students.

Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) - Batch of 2024

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college providing no placements and having higher fees.
Placements: Only sales and call centre jobs were offered by small firms that visited for the placements. The packages offered ranged between 15000 to 20000 only. There is no special placements cell in the college. The teachers just share the jobs on WhatsApp groups and the students apply from there.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is decent. They don't have their own ground. The canteen is always closed and no hostel facility is provided by the college. The college supports sports only if you are already good at it. The classrooms and labs are good with the teachers using projectors to teach.
Faculty: Majority teachers are good but a few of them come only to pass time. They don't bother about the students understanding anything, they don't even complete their portion on time. The students have to rely upon themselves to study for the exams regarding a few subjects, the rest are good.
