Satisfied as they are very affordable, large campus area, and have a lot of greenery.
Placements: Actually in IMA history, there are almost no placements but available in other social science courses like IMA economics. Last year a student got a placement of 19 LPA in IMA economics. But I haven't heard of someone who got placements in history. In Hyderabad, most of the IT companies came, and also many students got placements in the government as economists.
Infrastructure: Hostel infrastructure is up to the mark especially in south campus whereas it is not as much good in north as they all are so old. South campus hostels are well-equipped with geyser, RO, water cooler, and Wi-Fi both LAN and outer near to rooms. We need not worry about the classrooms as they are best in infrastructure wise with the modern equipment. Labs are also well maintained. Hostels need a little bit of maintenance but academic buildings are well maintained.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are also very kind and helpful. We need not worry about them and also the curriculum is good. But we find some obstacles as we get irritated by seeing some courses from different streams. If we are from science then we also have to study social science subjects. But at last, we will enjoy it. Here we hardly will be able to focus on our studies as there are lots of distractions. Exams are good and we will not be able to cheat them also get recourse if found so be careful.
Other: Actually I want to prepare for civil services and this university gives admission based on general tests so science students can easily get admission if they want to change course. We are really going to enjoy the campus as it is more than 3,000 acres of land, full of flora and fauna and different lakes and wildlife. Also, there are so many diversity which leads to many cultural festivals like Sukoon, Milaap, etc.

It has good infrastructure and facilities. Everyone is friendly.
Placements: Actually, I am not sure about placements as this is my first year. But I know that the highest salary package offered is 44 LPA. Many internships are provided with a good salary. The campus is great and it is ranked among the top 10 by NIRF. Nature and the environment are very good. We have a lot of peace here.
Infrastructure: We have a big library where many books are available. We have playgrounds, a gym, and yoga. Many tournaments are held here. The food is good, and hostels are always clean. We have a separate medical center where people there take care of us. Wi-Fi is provided in hostels.
Faculty: We have the best teachers here. We have internal and semester exams. If we study properly from the first without wasting time, then we can have the best percentage. Papers are given according to what teachers thought in class. Professors are also highly qualified and they teach very well.
Other: It has a good and healthy environment.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) - Batch of 2024

The Placement Circus @SMS
Placements: Arround 23% students get the campus placements from the college. University of Hyderabad is the best option among all Central Universities but School of Management Studies for MBA Business Analytics is lacking somewhere. Placement records for particularly from Business Analytics is not much impressive because of many reasons. Lacking of practical knowledge or other also.
Infrastructure: Course curriculum is very good. It makes you industry ready for entering the corporate world. Subjects like - Text analytics, Predictive analytics, Business Economic and others are very useful subjects.Hostel facilities are very good in University of Hyderabad. But if you are coming from North India then you will face a challenge for mess food.
Faculty: Faculty are well qualified but the college is dependent for guest faculty for some main analytics subjects. Course distribution semester wise is not justified. 1st , 2nd and 3rd semester there are 10 or 11 subjects but in final semester there is only 1 .
Other: No one in the college is interested in the placements of Business Analytics students.

UOH is one of the best universities if you are looking for research. Faculty members are really good
Placements: In my course, 70 percent of students are getting placed. The highest package was 24 LPA and the lowest was 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are GE, Marvell, and Intel. Almost 50 percent of the students got internships last year. Mostly, software development roles were offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is really good; some of the buildings of the college are really good. Wi-Fi, the library, and all are really good. In the hostel, we have to stay with 2 members in each room, and ethernet facilities are available in all hostels. The food quality is average.
Faculty: The teachers of UOH are really good and help students to cope with their curriculum. The course curriculum of UOH is good compared to other colleges. When we talk about the semester exam, there is one major exam of 60 marks, which usually happens at the end of the semester, and in the middle of the semester, minor exams are there.
Other: I wanted to do engineering at a good government college, and I got a decent rank in the JEE Main exam, so I filled out this college option during my JOSAA counseling and got into this college.

This institute has got the title of "Institute of Eminence."
Placements: The college provides on-campus placement opportunities. It has an average package of 7 LPA for the CSE branch. Students become eligible for on-campus placement from the 6th semester onwards. However, the college does not help with internship opportunities. Many famous companies like TCS, Wipro, Amazon, and Accenture visit the college every year and take 50-60 students per company. The college has a placement percentage of 92%, which is the highest in the NCR region for private colleges, I guess.
Infrastructure: This university has a library named Indira Gandhi Memorial. It has many books and journals for every respective field. The books here cover linguistics, such as Hindi and Urdu, and technology engineering. Many clubs are running here, such as the Arts, Dance, Science, and Junior Clubs, and many more.
Faculty: The college has well-educated and highly qualified faculty for nearly all the branches the college offers. The student-to-teacher ratio on average is nearly 55 students per teacher, which is quite more than recommended. This ratio sometimes makes interaction difficult. I personally like my class coordinator, who teaches us PPS. There are three sessional tests every month before the semester-end exams.

Satisfied with faculty, but administration is poor.
Placements: Appearing in 2025 placements interview. 30 Lacs per annum. Google, Microsoft, etc. As of now, we are not doing any internships, and even my college is not offering any kind of internships. Apart from all your questions, my college has a good reputation.
Infrastructure: Bad condition of infrastructure and technology, provided by the administration, buildings are in worse condition in my school, but the library is the finest place where students rush to. The mess condition is even worse, but the quality of food sanitation is good.
Faculty: Knowledge faculty, well-reputed professors, highly qualified, good teaching skills. Our courses are prepared by professors themselves, that sharpen the students and provide good training for the students to enter the economic e-society.
Other: University doesn't value money; that administration thinks all students can afford the fees, the finest which is imposed by us. Poor conditions of infrastructure are not looked out for by the administration. Scholarships are provided, that even students cannot afford, not helping students to fulfill their basic needs.
