Integrated M.A. in Language Sciences - Batch of 2027
3.8
3Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
A college with a good environment and the best eco-system.
Placements: In our course, around 10-20% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 35 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA in our course. The top recruiting company is Amazon. Everyone should need to do an internship. Top roles offered in our course are content writers and translator.
Infrastructure: As there is continuous Wi-Fi in all public spaces on the campus. There is full lab equipment, especially for science. There are good classrooms for all departments on the campus. We have nearly 3 lecture hall complexes. There is a 24X7 library facility named Indira Gandhi Memorial Library. Every department has a library. The main hostel provides better food. Sometimes, it will be the worst. We have to make an agenda to come here and study. If students focus on their studies, the food is not a problem. Hostels fees are very high. Without scholarships, students can't survive. But compared to Delhi University, it is much better. It is less than JNU. JNU is much better compared to this. Our college provides very good facilities for welcome sports and games. There is a Unisex gym and a women's gym. There will be an encouragement for the south zone under university games. There is a health center for medical facilities. It is a primary health center. There are two ambulances within the campus. They provide services. Our college provides insurance every year.
Faculty: Teachers are very fantastic, mind-blowing, and marvellous. It is very tough for students who start in a public school. Till now this campus will teach students all the way. Professors are very good and qualified. Students have to study well with each professor, so they can receive the degree policy implementation. I belong to this batch only.
Other: I chose linguistics because it is a rare course in India that offers opportunities to improve my language skills and document my language. It provides a good future. Translation and transcription I wish these would be better to improve my course. The campus conducts an annual program named Sukoon every year in April ending or May beginning. It is very wonderful and held for 3 days. Our university offers scholarship assistance to integrated students and master students and non-net fellowships for Ph.D. students. There will be a selection for South Indian University games. Annual games meet is held between all departments. The campus is surrounded by full of greenery where you can see good habitats of the world and many creatures. There is also a record that there are endangered species on this campus. There are many lakes on the campus.

M.Sc. in Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences - Batch of 2020
4.6
4Placements5Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Best college for Ocean & Atmospheric Sciences course.
Placements: The lowest is 6 LPA, and the greatest is 12 LPA, as a result of the recession. The majority of students struggled to get placements; only four or five students were assigned for 10 LPA. Although there are no companies available for placements, there were some good placements prior to last year.
Infrastructure: Hostels and classes are kept up nicely. Although there are a few issues, everything is fantastic, including the cost structure. In both departments and hostels, Wi-Fi is available. In addition to the extensive university library, there is a distinct department library. The cuisine is of mediocre quality. People from different parts of the country might find the meal challenging because the menu is South Indian.
Faculty: Each faculty member has a unique teaching style, but all of them offer the required study materials to ensure that students have no difficulties. The faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The curriculum is top-notch and prepares students for the workforce. Despite being divided, the semester exams are easy to pass.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) - Batch of 2024
Offered by School of Management Studies - University of Hyderabad (SMS Hyderabad)
2.6
2Placements4Infrastructure2Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life1Value for Money
The Placement Circus @SMS
Placements: Arround 23% students get the campus placements from the college. University of Hyderabad is the best option among all Central Universities but School of Management Studies for MBA Business Analytics is lacking somewhere. Placement records for particularly from Business Analytics is not much impressive because of many reasons. Lacking of practical knowledge or other also.
Infrastructure: Course curriculum is very good. It makes you industry ready for entering the corporate world. Subjects like - Text analytics, Predictive analytics, Business Economic and others are very useful subjects.Hostel facilities are very good in University of Hyderabad. But if you are coming from North India then you will face a challenge for mess food.
Faculty: Faculty are well qualified but the college is dependent for guest faculty for some main analytics subjects. Course distribution semester wise is not justified. 1st , 2nd and 3rd semester there are 10 or 11 subjects but in final semester there is only 1 .
Other: No one in the college is interested in the placements of Business Analytics students.

M.A. in Political Science - Batch of 2025
4.4
4Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
We have really good faculty members here.
Placements: The campus placement opportunities here are good. While not everyone opts for campus placement, those who do tend to get decent salary packages. There are also internships and other opportunities available, but it's up to the students to keep track of them. Several of my batchmates got the opportunity to present papers at different universities, including Kerala University.
Infrastructure: The university has a 24*7 library, open Wi-Fi, and reading rooms in both the south and north campuses. Each department also has its own reading room. The old hostels have a few non-functional washrooms, but the new ladies hostels are really nice and even have a gym and playing area.
Faculty: The teachers at this college are really good and helpful, with a few exceptions. However, due to the implementation of NEP, the course structure is a bit different, and many courses that are considered core are missing. The semester exams are okay, but the mandatory attendance requirement is a problem for students who want to do other things at the same time.
Other: I think mandatory attendance should be removed. The campus culture is very inclusive, and it's a great place to live. For those who are into sports, this campus provides good opportunities. However, not so much for Masters students; undergraduate students have an abundance of opportunities for academic writing, presentations, etc.

Best department for political science among central universities.
Placements: Percentage-wise data varies. Although after this course, many students prefer to go for higher studies and pursue a PhD. In that aspect, this university is one of the best places. Professors will help you carve out your future plan. They engage with you regarding the further course of action you take and are very open to helping you with where you want to pursue your PhD.
Infrastructure: Classes and hostels are well maintained. There are a few problems, but considering everything and the fee structure, one should say it is good. Wi-Fi facility is available both in hostels and departments. A separate department library also exists along with a huge university library. The quality of food is average. As a South Indian menu is available, people from other parts of the country may face a challenge regarding food.
Faculty: The faculty is top-notch in the country. You will be studying from the best minds in whatever area you want to pursue. The course curriculum is often heavy and keeps students engaged throughout the semester. Rigorous efforts are expected from students. Evaluation is done by written exams as well as other modes of assessment, such as term papers, projects, and assignments. It is a must-visit place for this reason if one wants to study political science in a public university in India.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to study political science. This department is considered one of the finest in the country, and it's worth it. Sukoon is the annual fest conducted by the elected students' union. The crowd and campus are both filled with energy. Connectivity is based on the buses run by the university.

I think it's a perfect choice for mass communication.
Placements: About 30 percent of our seniors got placed in big companies like Deloitte and Wipro, with the highest package going to 10 LPA and the average being 6 LPA. Many companies were invited for campus placements, with lots of opportunities for students to grow and learn.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is commendable in some departments, making you feel like you're in a hotel. There are labs for practical courses, and for our course, we have an in-house radio station and a production studio for more hands-on learning experience.
Faculty: I personally feel the teachers are overqualified, as they are well-known figures in the Communication field with a fantastic background, which provides a chance to enhance your exposure and interact with some well-known personalities. Professors are very helpful and will do everything in their capability to help you grow.
Other: Every other day there's a new celebration on campus, and there is diversity. The campus is very beautiful.
